"And while McCain may not have done anything else for conservatives, he did introduce the nation to Sarah."

THAT's what the tin-hat folk who fashion themselves as being the "real grass roots" don't understand - without McCain, Sarah would still be a popular gov. from the land up North!

It is important to understand what came first and it was McCain's choice (or at least he allowed it) to place a powerful voice for real conservatism in the GOP.

Sarah has said more than once, that she and McCain don't agree on a "number of issues" but she acknowledged his patriotism and service to his country!"

End of subject.

Hey!! Stop making sense! The face-spiters can’t understand and certainly won’t miss an opportunity to fly their “Me So Pure” flag.

Ahh-ha-ha-ha! I can’t believe you posted that! Geez.

Every thread hijacked by the ‘but she endorsed McCain’ people who never really liked Sarah in the first place.

DemonRATs love Republicans duking it out in the primary. They suck up their money fighting each other. When the winner goes into the general election, he is no match for the DemonRAT who has all the money for the win.

Excuse me, I did not realize you had a monopoly on truth.

Jo, you would be better off to abandon this discussion now else you end up with egg on your face.

The point is, she will at minimum go on record as having held her nose and boosted McCain through whatever crazy ideas he may have between now and November (such as unneeded, Big-brother style, European-style regulations on food supplements). All that will come under the aura of the label “statesman” that she is using, even though “snakesman” may be more like it.

If she does not run for office but chooses to boost another candidate for President, this hangs a question mark over the wisdom of her endorsement. If she runs for office, one wonders what circumstances would move her to euphemize past a smelly situation once in office.

I’m not agreeing with the people who say that Mitt’s any better. She may prove to be “least worst” of all viable candidates for all we know, and may be worth holding our nose and voting for.

I don’t feel the need to hold my nose to vote for Sarah Palin. What I was saying is that I don’t think Sarah Palin will focus on the issue where she disagrees with McCain. I think she will focus on the issue which you and she both agree with McCain. :-p You agree with McCain on some issues. ;-p

I love Palin, but I’d be lying if I did not say her endorsement of McCain leaves a bad taste in my mouth. He’s a PROGRESSIVE and any endorsement of such, is not a good thing.

Although I get the whole “political favor” thing, I think some of the endorsements are a bit overboard considering the goals we have to take over and oust the PROGRESSIVES. In other worse, endorsing one, does not help the cause. Esp. one like McCain. He needs to just retire, IMO.

But I truly hope it does not hurt Sarah. Many do not like McCain and his whole political persona and just being associated with him, may give her “guilt by association” or at the least, make her true political agenda questionable.

As for the Tea Party taking over the GOP - damn straight. THEY need to come to US!!! Bring back conservative, constitutional values. AMEN!!!

What I don’t understand is why Romney is endorsing McCain.

That's easy

So McCain will support him in his run for the Presidency in 2012

“And we know she can’t do anything but endorse McCain.”

She absolutely CAN and has made her choice.

"McWeasel threw the fight for the 'bama."

Oh pulllleezzzzeee.

He wanted that job bigtime, and still can't accept that he lost.

He even admits it to Obama in front of a national audience.

"it can be argued that in 2008 sarah palin did a heck of a lot more for mccain than he did for her."<

Sure it can - by those who knew about her and supported her BEFORE McCain selected her to be his running mate:

Are you one of that microscopic group?
Good for you if you're one of the 3 people outside Alaska who'd heard of her.

He was for amnesty, supported the eco fascists, and had an open borders dual citizen advisor. The only good thing he did was to pick Sarah Palin for VP. The Mccain camp then got their panties inb a twist when her prescence on the ticket started closing the gap..
