Disasters - earthquake, Tsunami, others - happening rapidly now.
Read Matthew 24. There will be earthquakes.....etc.
When we see these events occurring in increasing frequency it is because these are the "birth pangs" that we have been told by Jesus Christ Himself - would happen closer together in time as do the birth pangs of a woman in labor. The closer she gets to giving birth, the worse the birth pangs become and the closer together they come.
He will come to those who are not expecting His return - like a thief in the night - but to those who belong to Him, who are children of the light and not of darkness - His coming will not overtake us like a thief in the night.
But his coming (in the Rapture event) will be in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye)...See I Thessalonans chapter 4 for more on the Rapture event.
So he causes a couple of natural disasters that kill and maim hundreds of thousands of people to celebrate his return?
Not my Jesus.
He doesn’t cause the disasters to celebrate anything. However, He allows events to happen as warnings to His people. My Jesus wants all to be saved. He also wants His Church to know the season of His coming, and that’s why He lets us in on the timing.

A warning that kills and maims hundreds of thousands? You have got to be kidding. What kind of evil do you see in your Jesus? Mine would never consider this kind of evil aimed at His children.

Increasing frequency of what events? Not earthquakes. Not hurricanes. Not volcanic eruptions. Just what do you think is increasing in frequency?

There have always been a bunch of earthquakes.
The events have not increased in intensity but the new coverage sure has...

Yes they are increasing in frequency. I really didn’t think that was happening either - until today.
Again Read Matthew 24.
Here is the sequence which comes from all of the Bible but especially the book of Revelation:
After Jesus ascended to heaven we have been in “the times of the Gentiles” and in “the church age”.
Jesus told us that as we get closer to the time of His return (of which we are not to know the day or the hour but we ARE TO KNOW THE SEASON which is what we are in right now.
so the Rapture is going to come in a moment - and its purpose is for Jesus to come for His Bride - the church - in which all believers in Christ, all those who belong to Him and who are alive when He comes in the Rapture event (again see I Thessalonians chapter 4) - will be caught up to meet Him in the sky. (He will return on the clouds just as the angel told His desciples when they kept staring up into heaven after the resurrected Jesus ascended unto heaven.
Then after the rapture happens, the Great Tribulation will begin = during which the antichrist will have power to rule this earth. Much of Revelation is about this time - but you can also read about it in most of the OT Prophets - like Zephaniah, and Malchi, and Isaiah, and Daniel, and in the Psalms even.
That Great Tribulation period will last exactly 7 years at the end of which Jesus will come with his raptured saints coming with Him and He will be coming then not just for His own but for ALL those on the earth! He is coming to put an end to evil in this world and to cast defeated Satan into the abyss and to rule this earth for 1000 years (along with His saints).
At the end of that 1000 year reign, there will be one more release of Satan from the abyss who will lead a rebellion at that time on the earth because people will be born during the Tribulation and some will rebel against God - just proving that sin rears its head even in an ideal environment such as we will have during the millenium Kingdom. Then Jesus will pesonally put satan into the lake of fire (or have one of his chief lieutenant angels do it)
Then there will be the Great White Throne Judgement - which will only be for unbelievers - for all those who do not belong to Him throughout all history. Sadly all those at the GWT Judgement will be going to an eternal hell apart from God forever. I can hardly type that because it is a future so horrble - I do not wish it on anybody and we know that Jesus came then and is speaking in so many ways NOW in order to reap a huge harvest of souls BEFORE that terrible Tribulation period begins!
He does NOT take delight in the destruction of the wicked - much as many of us do....
He yearns for every lost sinner to turn to Him and be saved! NOW! While there is still time to become HIS - before the Tribulation actually begins.
(these are just the birth pangs - not the real Tribulation yet).
And yet the occurrence of pestilences is at an all-time low.
Frequency and intensity of major earthquakes is increasing.
Haiti a few weeks ago - 7.0 or higher
Chile today - 8.8
Expect there will be more major quakes in the days ahead.
