Has anyone satisfactorily answered the question of how the House passes the Senate bill with the requirement that appropriations bills originate in the House?

You have a point. And a good one. And no, I don't think anyone has answered that question. If someone can I would certainly be interested in the answer.

Pelosi and Obama and all the liberals can win this battle easily.

All Pelosi and Obama need to do is to go along with whatever changes Stupak and the republicans want for the bill. Then, put it up for a vote.

Whatever the bill contains doesn’t matter. What Pelosi and Obama want is just a bill. Then, in later months or years, they can come back to put into other bills whatever wasn’t in the original. It’s all about incrementally getting what they want. Whatever they don’t get now, they’ll get later. Stupak and the republicans will be helpless later after the initial bill passes. Passing any kind of health-care bill will be the equivalent of the camel getting his nose under the tent.

The liberals aren’t known as progressives for no reason. They have “progressively” changed this country towards socialism. Little by little, this country has become just as socialist as those in Europe and we’re about to surpass them.

Tricare fee increases imposed last week by the Defense Department will be repealed by a provision of the compromise 2010 defense authorization bill unveiled Wednesday by House and Senate negotiators.

The fee increases were announced on Sept. 30 and took effect on Oct. 1, but the defense bill, HR 2647, includes a provision barring any fee increases until the start of fiscal 2011.

Retired Army Maj. Gen. Bill Matz, president of the National Association for Uniformed Services, said the announcement of fee increases was shocking considering that the Obama administration promised earlier this year to hold off on any new fee Tricare fee increases until fiscal 2011.

“President Obama and DoD assured NAUS and the entire military family earlier this year that there would rightly be no increases in any Tricare fees” in fiscal 2010, Matz said. “We took them at their word, and I can’t believe that a co-pay increase like this was allowed to go forward,” he added.

I simply cannot believe the number of bloviators who are profoundly ignorant of the legislative process. Perhaps they slept through 9th grade Civics class.

1) a health care sovietization bill has passed the Senate.

2) Nazi Pelousy is maneuvering for the Senate health care sovietization bill to pass the House.

3) If the Senate and the House pass the same bill, THERE IS NO RECONCILIATION BECAUSE THERE IS NOTHING TO RECONCILE. “Reconciliation” occurs only when two different budget bills are passed, and thus need to be “reconciled.

When Pelousy gets the vote she wants, late next week or sometime the week after, the bill has been passed by both houses of Congress and goes directly to Obamao for his signature, and it is law. Period.

All this nonsense about reconciliation is just boob bait for bubbas.

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner, I was out playing with my quad runner after I fixed it. It runs good.

I can only conjecture on what his price has been. As I pointed out, governor or senator. Rush suggested today that he could be bought in order to get him to switch his vote on Maobamacare. He isn't as stupid as Margories Margolies Mesvinsky so it won't be a promise to have Maobama come and campaign for him. Besides, the alleged Republicans will do that for him. Perhaps an ambassadorship? Michigan is a strange place politically. People who call themselves Republicans or even conservatives are oftentimes very squishy. They want to make nice. Some days they can be relied on to (rightfully) distrust the unions, other days, well they know someone who is a union person and that's a very nice person and well, unions can't be all that bad 'cuz good old Ellis is in a union. They often form circular firing squads at election time and take out the strongest GOP candidate for some position or another because they have flaws and it just wouldn't be right to elect them. The democraps in Michigan have no problem in picking a candidate and sticking with that candidate. We've had Karl Lenin looking over the top of his glasses and down his nose at us for decades with no hope he'll ever be gone--the second coming of KKK Byrd. And, we have a "Republican" party that consistently has no guts.

I'm saying all that because Bart Stupak has no problem keeping the job he has, crapping on all of Michigan, his hypocricy running amok. He must have something up his sleeve as you correctly suggest, ambition beyond what he already has.
