It was wonderful meeting with fellow FRiends over great food tonight at Charlie Gitto's "on The Hill." There is certainly much to talk about in this day and age!
Charles Henrickson made a recommendation to have a picnic in the summer, which was reinforced by those around the table. Therefore, we will have the picnic on June 19th, 2010 at 12:00pm at a location to be determined.
I will work on getting a covered pavilion reserved in the St. Louis area on Monday and will provide more details at a future time. The meat and soda will be provided, but you are requested to bring a side item along with you. I may have to ask for a donation of a dollar or two if there is a great number of people.
Please mark your calendars for Saturday, June 19th! Everyone reading this post is invited, regardless of whether or not you live in St. Louis. Just respond to the thread...thanks!

Count us in. We had a great time tonight. Just hope the weather is better then than it is now...lots of sleet and cars off the road the last 25 miles. We hit town doing 40 mph and thought that was a little fast.
BTW, Dog says to put him down for cheesecake. Hopefully, he’ll make two...one for you and one for me. LOL.

It was great to meet all of you folks, too. After years of screen names having faces and personalities to go with them is such a treasure. It was so much fun to watch people walk in the door and think, “is she one of us?” That Michael guy was a real fast study. He was a hoot.
I know for a fact the dog can make 3 cheesecakes at once. He has 3 pans and a giant mixer machine.
