Seriously, I fully understand the significance of the assault on our liberties and freedoms we've just witnessed.

But for the love of God, take your two seconds and get it out of your system and get ready to take back the country. It's our own damn fault we let this happen so now what are we going to do? Sit and cry like these bozos own us? They only own you if you let them.

I'll say this-I don't know what all the answers are but I know it will take an incredible effort and some very brave and smart people to rebuild this thing. You have a choice-lay on the ground and get walked on by these cretins or get up off your butt and start fighting back. It starts now. I'm 34 years old and I'm not taking this laying down-I've got too much pride in my country and self to let a two-bit crackhead like Obama run my life. I also know that the old saying "United we stand, divided we fall," is going to be critical moving forward. I watched some people up in Washington that should inspire all of us-Paul Ryan, John Boehner, Mark Levin, Michelle Bachmann. What great great people and true leaders. We have some great leaders to build around that's for sure. I couldn't be prouder of the true Patriots that have fought and will continue to fight for us.

An excellent point. At least a dozen promising leaders have come into the spotlight, all with good conservative credentials. We have something to build on and that's a big plus for us.

These representatives will eventually have to return to the neighborhoods they live in.
Give them hell at their children's soccer practice.
Give them hell at the local restaurants.
Make it so they cannot show their faces in the districts they represent.
Next time, when they cast an unpopular vote- they will think about the ramifications that will occur in their daily lives in the hometowns they claim to represent.

One has to now wonder why the Republican leadership was unable to stop this.

I want to see GOP leadership heads on a pike. Fighting this will require more talent than they’ve been able to muster. They have been demonstrably ineffective and need to go so we can regain political power in the fall.

Failure must have consequences for political GOP hacks.

They need to go, so we can go after the folks that are committed to this fraud.

Sometimes you have to execute the apathetic and ineffective before you go after the enemy.

I lived for 4 years in the Czech Republic and Russia (post-Communist) and saw what horror that system wreaked on those people. The Russians alone are the most resilient people I’ve ever known, as a result, but it took me a long time to get those images of government imposed oppression out of my head. I guess I’m going to have to dredge that up again and rethink how I can emulate them, and how they “beat the Soviet system” and lived to tell about it.

We have to push the states to pass their laws plus a comprehensive birth certificate check before being put on a ballot.

The states also have to try to find a way so the citizenry does not get taxed to pay for it.

Is Hatch correct that the Senate can tie it up forever?

FR has done many things. But this situation is extreme. These people have even ignored polls and 10's of thousands of marchers. The fight isn't over. If you want to whine and be a defeatist, fine. But this isn't the place. FR is an activist site.

Kind of shows that people who "DO", get things done. People who sit in their living rooms praying apparently miss the opportunity.

God sent us the Founders. They gave us a Constitution. We KNOW what we need to do to get our Freedom and our Republic back.

Now we need to get about it. Waiting for God to take a hand personally isn't going to happen.
