I'm calling Reps. John Lewis, Andre Carson, Emanuel Cleaver and the news media liars. Despicable liars. It's been nealy 48 hours since the three Democrat Congressmen made their claims that they were called "n*****" by Tea Party protesters.
The trio described a scene straight out of Bull Connor as they walked through protesters on Capitol Hill, claiming that a "chorus" of voices chanted "n*****" fifteen times at them.
With all the news media on the Hill, with all the protesters and liberal operatives on the Hill with video recorders and cellphone video devices there is no proof that has been presented. There are not even any 'earwitness' reports. Just the word of three Democrat politicans.
I know the Tea Party crowd. I've stood with them in Florida and D.C. at several rallies. I've never seen or heard the behavior claimed by the Democrats. I've never seen or heard that behavior in the hundreds of Free Republic rallies and protests I've participated in.
Is the cliche 'there's one in every crowd' true? Yes. We saw that with the recorded isolated incidents of Barney Frank being taunted for his homosexuality. But it wasn't a chorus and the person who said it was quickly admonished by other protesters.
The news media has gleefully smeared the Tea Party protesters without asking for proof of these outrageous charges of racism. Democrats lie, politicans lie. Race hoaxes are sadly commonplace. Where's the proof for this one? Nowhere.
Liars! Despicable liars.
“He called me a N_____.” African-Americans sometimes use this as though it was some sort of magic talisman.
Call them Democrats next time. That’s a bigger slur!
That is how many blacks refer to themselves, so what’s the big deal? Can we prosecute blacks that address other black people in this manner for hate crimes?
Why would the RNC apoligize for the TParty? They have NOTHING TO DO WITH US ... THAT’S THE WHOLE POINT!
If there were any slurs (and I’m not admitting there were), I am sure they were uttered by Democrat plants and not by genuine members of the Tea Party Movement.
Why were those particular congressmen walking through the tea party anyways? There was no reason for them to be there other than to foment trouble.
I noticed that Cleaver backed off his claim quickly once he discovered that there was audio/video tape of the alleged incident in existence.
Color me NOT surprised!
The left is trying to act as if the Tea Party is just a “group” of racist, hate filled malcontents, rather than a spontaneous uprising of American citizens from every walk of life, every race, who see what is happening to our Constitution and our way of life and are rising to stop the destruction of it.
The Tea Party participants represent most other American citizens who are unable, for whatever reasons, to physically be there to protest the unwanted “changes” being perpetrated on the American people. They are NOT some little “GROUP”. They are “WE THE PEOPLE”.
That “group” of anti-American leftists who are abusing positions of power to thwart the will of the people are the ones in the minority. They are trying to silence the majority just as they were able to do in the 1960’s when the majority failed to recognize how dangerous it was not to put a stop to their “counter-culture revolution” in its beginning.
The majority have allowed the political tactics of a small group of leftists pretending to be something other than what they are and sniping from the cover of political correctness, along with their useful idiots and fellow travelers, to prevent an effective response to their takeover of our country.
Check out the percentage of people in the Soviet Union who were actually members of the Communist Party. “In 1989 it (the Communist Party of the Soviet Union) comprised about 9.7 percent of the adult population of the Soviet Union. Among the “movers and shakers” of society, however, the percentage of party members was much higher.”
The “movers and shakers” can take over only if the majority of the people allow it to happen.
