After many months of rancorous debate and partisan passion, a health care reform bill has passed. What taste is left in your mouth?
- A sweet modicum of pride. A pleasant surprise to have an historic moment that didn't involve an invasion. I'm shocked and awed.
- A wasabi-like head blast. A month ago this thing was dead. It's like Northern Iowa taking down Kansas. What the hell? Props to coach Obama.
- The bitter taste of tyranny. I can't believe how unpatriotic, socialist and evil my fellow Americans are. And yes, I mean YOU. Repeal the bill now!

Let me start off by saying thank you for standing up for Liberty.
Next, I would like you to propose an Amendment to the health care “fixes” package. Seeing that the Democrats have for years rejected the idea of a National Voter I.D. Card on the grounds that it would be a “burden” on the poor to get one, with their latest “burden” on the poor to demand they purchase health care (even up too 2-3 % of yearly income) or be lumped into Medicare (which also requires some sort of documentation), it seems they have moved beyond the “burdening” of the poor.
This of course would help insure a fair election come November as well. With the defunding of ACCORN and subsequent possible bankruptcy, and a Voter I.D., the freedom loving American public would then be on, to quote our President, “a level playing ground”.
