Binyamin Netanyahu humiliated after Barack Obama 'dumped him for dinner'

For a head of state to visit the White House and not pose for photographers is rare. For a key ally to be left to his own devices while the President withdraws to have dinner in private was, until this week, unheard of.

Yet that is how Binyamin Netanyahu was treated by President Obama on Tuesday night, according to Israeli reports on a trip seen in Jerusalem tonight as a disastrous humiliation.

After failing to extract a written promise of concessions on Jewish settlements, Mr Obama walked out of his meeting with Mr Netanyahu but invited him to stay at the White House, consult with advisors and “let me know if there is anything new”, a US congressman who spoke to the Prime Minister said today.

“It was awful,” the congressman said. One Israeli newspaper called the meeting “a hazing in stages”, poisoned by such mistrust that the Israeli delegation eventually left rather than risk being eavesdropped on a White House phone line. Another said that the Prime Minister had received “the treatment reserved for the President of Equatorial Guinea”.

Dissing perhaps our most valuable ally and friend

Number of Israeli troops in Iraq = zero.

Number of Israeli troops in Afghanistan = zero.

Most valuable how, exactly?

The Kenyan dined with Jews at a faux seder a year ago. The photos were lovingly distributed by Jewish liberals as proof of how wonderful the Kenyan is. Needless to say, the pix lacked the required BARF ALERT.

Watch the men together. Our President certainly does not like the Prime Minister. Are we allowed to suspect that his
18 or 20 years in the pew listening to one America's foremost gasbag anti-semites might cause suspicion.

No Muslim will be seen with a Jew.

Obama is a Muslim.

IMHO, 60+ years of being surrounded by people that would as soon see them wiped off the earth, makes the Israelis fairly tough customers.

'Twould be smart to stay on their good side, says me.

Unbelievable. Our one true ally in the Middle East. It’s not enough that the Muslims hate us? We’ve got to piss off the Israelis too? Great job there you moron. I will tell you if Obama thinks this is going to placate the Muslims, it won’t. It will be taken as a further sign of weakness. If I’m a Muslim I’m looking at this as “Not only is America weak and morally bankrupt, they betray their allies too.”

You know, everytime someone mentions that Obama is a Muslim, many people, even some conservatives, say that isn’t true, Obama is a christian, yada, yada, yada. But I have to say, if Obama isn’t a Mohammed lovin’ Muslim, then why does he behave in a way that appears designed to get the approval of the Muslim world. To trash our most loyal and consistent ally in the Middle East is an outrage. Sadly, Hillary Clintoon is not much better.

I only hope that Israel realizes they have to go it alone with Iran, etc and Israel bombs them back into the stone ages. Then, I hope US Jews see the light and stop voting, en mass, for Democrats.

Let’s see, 0bamao has stated that he is willing to sit down with known terrorists and cutthroats but it appears that he is unwilling to sit down with America’s [former] friends and allies.

I wonder what this will mean for Bibi as the PM of Israel. Is his time running out?
