WASHINGTON – The FBI is warning police across the country that an anti-government group's call to remove governors from office could provoke violence.

The group called the Guardians of the free Republics wants to "restore America" by peacefully dismantling parts of the government, according to its Web site. It sent letters to governors demanding they leave office or be removed.

Investigators do not see threats of violence in the group's message, but fear the broad call for removal of top state officials could lead others to act out violently. At least two states beefed up security in response...

Does civil war help or harm national health? If Obamacare foments civil war, does it promote better health?

Over thirty governors so far have received a letter telling them that they have “three days to leave office” or they will be “forcibly removed.”

This doesn’t strike you as a threat?

Agents provocateurs. How many people are worried more about the growth of STATE power as opposed to FEDERAL power? Not many, I’d bet. Why go after governors? We’re more worried about Reps, Senators and Presidents.

I’m sure I misspelled the word. It is a political takeover of the government over the will of the people. Demoncraps don’t care about what the people they represent want. It doesn’t matter. So by VOTING THERE PEOPLE IN, they are using their representation to usurp the will of the people. Only 20% or 30% at most want the Obama agenda.

I really don’t see the people’s wrath against governors. Maybe a few like the Arnold in Cali but most of the anger that people have is directed towards Washington.

Well I read some of their doctrine and there’s one that calls for the elimination of all prosecution of crimes that do not have an injured party.

That’s drugs and prostitution folks.

Not editorializing at this time, just pointing this out.

VERY interesting, I'd love to find more information about that -- but I suppose that parents steeped in Black Liberation Theology would prolly pass stuff like that to their own children????

How sad.

There seem to be TWO parallel distinct cultures living in the USA, don't there? It's like Juan Williams being totally unfamiliar with the "Don't Tread On Me" flag of Colonial America and incorrectly saying it was racist.

Really pathetic.

I’d bet a month’s pay that this group was begun by ACORN or one of the other White House front groups.

Justpiper, did you happen to notice if there are lots of SS who wear bow ties??

>>>>> "Interesting. Do they wear bow ties too? (Nation of Islam style). Maybe they have all Black SS details so they can say whatever they want without fear it will show up in the news. I remember reading early on about a SS agent who complained that Michelle and the girls were making racist comments about whites. That story died very quickly, I didn't read anything else about the complaint, it just disappeared." <<<<<

It’s an ominous statement, for sure, but it doesn’t evoke notions of violence in me, as the AP/DHS would have us believe.

It's a French word: Coup d'etat

define: coup d'etat (google)

I thought you intentionally misspelled it, so as to avoid the web spiders, and if any of "Them" are doing site searches on words like "c-o-*-p" LOL
