Love ya, Neil, but youre wrong on this one.Well, enlighten us.

Now we need to catch rides to the ISS (now known as the Mir II) from the Russians.
Russia and China will be the only countries to have a manned space program after the end of this year. That is just wrong.

It is a disgrace. There is a spiritual sickness in the country. A desire to always get something for nothing.

Decades and centuries from now - the name Neil Armstrong will still be remembered - as an explorer - Obama - nada - nobody, a nothin’.....btw - I met Neil Armstrong’s son many “moons” ago (sorry - couldn’t resist), but I did meet his son - that was pretty cool - especially for me - a young 20-year old - cute, too!!

Funny, I haven’t heard anyone at MSDNC call obama (small o) anti-science yet.

I can speak from personal experience. Rocket scientists do NOT grow on trees. In the early 70s when the spade work on Apollo had been completed, my colleagues had their salaries cut and many left the business forever. When you're rocket scientist sharp, you can do anything and many were forced to do so and did a lot better in every field they ventured. If Zero chases a whole generation of rocket scientists out of the business, it'll cost this country dearly.

Love ya, Neil, but youre wrong on this one. The debate on NASA's mission aside, seeing Zero criticized by (another) Apollo astronaut is a precious thing.

For Armstrong to speak out in public it must be a big deal...like Marcel Marceau uttering the only word in Mel Brooks’ “Silent Movie”.
