The first man to walk on the moon blasted President Barack Obamas decision to cancel NASAs back-to-the-moon program on Tuesday, saying that the move is devastating to Americas space effort.
Apollo 11 commander Neil Armstrongs open letter was also signed by Apollo 17 commander Eugene Cernan, the last man to walk on the moon; and Apollo 13 commander Jim Lovell, who is marking the 40th anniversary of his famous lunar non-landing this week.

Decades and centuries from now - the name Neil Armstrong will still be remembered - as an explorer - Obama - nada - nobody, a nothin’.....btw - I met Neil Armstrong’s son many “moons” ago (sorry - couldn’t resist), but I did meet his son - that was pretty cool - especially for me - a young 20-year old - cute, too!!
