Mideast: Israeli officials charge Syria with transferring ballistic missiles to the control of Iran's puppet militia, Hezbollah. It seems that another attempt to woo and appease a hostile power is not working.
Last November we commented on reports in the Arab media in the Persian Gulf that Syria, apparently at the request of Iran, had turned about 300 long-range ballistic missiles over to Hezbollah control in Syrian territory. Hezbollah personnel were being trained to operate the Scuds.
On Tuesday, Israeli President Shimon Peres confirmed these reports, publicly charging Syrian President Bashar Assad's government with transferring Scud missiles to the control of Hezbollah's forces inside Lebanon.
The missiles have apparently not physically left Syrian territory (they'd be hard to miss if being driven around southern Lebanon). The transfer of operational control to Hezbollah would continue a Syrian pattern of interference in Lebanon's affairs and of being a transit point and supplier of weapons to the Iranian-backed militia group during its 2006 war with Israel.
"Syria claims it wants peace while at the same time it delivers Scuds to Hezbollah, whose only goal is to threaten the state of Israel," Peres said in an interview with Israeli radio. Hezbollah would be Iran's second front in any future engagement with Israel.

The first Scud launched from Lebanon that lands in Israel, may likely be followed shortly by an instantaneous sunrise over Damascus. I think the Israelis have had enough, they know they stand alone, and there is no reason to hold back much longer.

I don’t know if it’s time to unleash the nukes just yet, but I agree that the first one of these SCUDS (essentially upgraded Nazi V-2s) that lands on an Israeli population center should be replied with a liberal dose of conventional ordnance on Damascus, with the same regard for collateral casualties as Hezbollah shows for Israel.
Of course if any WMD ride in the warheads of those SCUDs, I would expect invocation of the SAMPSON Option PDQ.
At this point it’s essentially Israel against the entire “Global Community” which, sad to say, now includes their former best allie, the US.
I think that they would rather go out in a blaze of defiance as line up to be marched into the gas chambers again. But I don’t think it’s really going to end that way.

Hezbollah gets this armament and Obama is sending Israel a message by tell the world that it is against “our” policy to retaliate for such an attack by using a nuclear WMD. THAT MESSAGE was for Israel telling them that we won't back them if they respond with increased force.

God will not continue to bless America. HE has plainly stated “I will bless those that bless thee, and curse those that curse thee”. The great and powerful OZbomo will soon know who is really in charge. Unfortunately a lot of people are going to suffer because of perhaps our greatest tragedy, when America turned our back on our best friend Israel.
