Relax, everything is under COMPLETE CONTROL.

It’s really becoming laughable, these Marxists, socialists, collectivists, and other-ists. 2010 will go down in history as the “Year of Control.”

First of all, I knew it was a Demonsocialist at the headline.

Government isn't for us, they're against us.

WHERE IS THE GOVERNMENT
THAT IS SUPPOSED TO PROTECT US?

Everything they are doing is designed to strip the middle class of any ability to resist government dependency.

The EPA and the UN need to be defunded. What a waste of money.

Nixon is forever culpable for the EPA and the damage it has wreaked on the economy and our freedom. One of the worst presidents in history. And yes, a progressive Republican.

Have the pubbies EVER rolled back any such Rat legislation? Of course not. They keep it going and perpetually run against it. Remember that the EPA was a gift to us from Richard Nixon... A (dare I say it?) pubbie.

IF they get their way, we become serfs living on the Kings land again.

sorry, but the property taxes alone 'deem' my dwelling place to be the kings...not to mention the water, electric, garbage etc that are controlled &/or denied without tribute and a 'pretty please yer majesty'...

Dear Democrats,

We in St. Louis have the cleanest, best tasting water in the country despite its sources, thanks to two fantabulous water treatment facilities. Touch them, and we may be forced to use that water against you.

The new legislation wants control of all properties that may adjoin these "bodies of water".

That means all the levees, flood walls, locks and dams, etc. Power struggle going on with the Army corps of engineers?

Now that I think about it - in addition to all the details outlined here by rightfully outraged land-owners as well as the levees, locks and dams and such that keep flooding to a minimum on the big rivers - out here in the midwest there are MANY man-made lakes that are really just dammed rivers. In a lot of places tourism is a big industry on these "lakes" - Kentucky, Missouri, Illinois, Tennessee, even North Dakota who we down river on the Missouri tussle with every drought year over releasing water from the dam so that commercial river traffic can go on.

All the way around, this is a blatant power grab. To control the commercial shipping channels will give the EPA power the likes of which they'd love to imagine. The amount of raw materials effected would be mind-boggling.

This legislation is pure evil. They don't just want to have a say about the "water” ..... but they will be able to make judgments over all land adjoining the water!

I trust you. I figured you were wise.

I am just real pissed off about this whole deal.

This particular legislation will be worse than the health care bill in the end!

Yes, and as I wrote in # 55:

This legislation is pure evil. They don't just want to have a say about the "water” ..... but they will be able to make judgments over all land adjoining "the water in question".
