I think it’s time we give Michigan’s upper peninsula a shot at statehood. (If they push this PR thing through.)
Its been in the 30s here at night but tomorrow its only supposed to get down into the 50s overnight.

Puerto Rico vote
HR 2499. Non-binding resolution
Progressives’ beliefs:
1) in big government, power and control.
(You don’t choose, except from options they present) Communism or Nazism.....cars, food, etc.
2) Democratic elections....Wilson or Roosevelt. (You are given choices). But we are a Republic.
3) SOcial Justice....Doling out largesse based on a ‘collective redemption’ based on gov’t, not Christianity. AKA Marxist redistribution of wealth.
Someone else pointed out that they want to have a PR referendum but they want everyone who was once a resident of Peurto Rico to have a vote even if they live any where else in America.
That’s like giving me a vote in Texas because I lived there for a few months in the 80s.

PR voted no to statehood. (They are a commonwealth, self-governing). PR has not be asked. “Puerto Rico Democracy Act” Who could be against this?
