So this law goes into effect in August, but it’s working already?
What I’m anxious to learn is the caseload reduction in social services.
And the effect on some convenience store owners.
And how much drug traffic chooses a different state.
And whether TX is serious enough to emulate.
AZ can hold a lot more people. Maybe I should ask the wife if she wants to move to Flagstaff...(Phoenix is too damn hot).
Here’s your sombrero, what’s your hurry?
UT won’t put up with it for long...look for a similar law.
Well, Arizona is sure making it hotter for illegals. Gov. Brewer would get my vote if I lived in Arizona.
Headlines to come:
“IGLESIA DE DIOS STOREFRONT CHURCH TO CLOSE FOR LACK OF CONGREGATION”
“STREAMS OF UNREGISTERED VEHICLES CLOGGING INTERESTATE INTO NEW MEXICO, TEXAS AND CALIFORNIA”
“PHOENIX ENTREPRENEUR OPENS LEGAL PAY BY THE HOUR LABOR CENTER”
“LANDSCAPING COMPANIES ALL OVER ARIZONA SEEK AMERICAN WORKERS”
“UNEMPLOYMENT DROPS SHARPELY IN ARIZONA LEADING THE NATIONAL RECOVERY”
“SCORES OF FAMILIES RELOCATING TO ARIZONA DUE TO EMERGING EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES”
“ARIZONA STATE COFFERS SWELL ON ADDITIONAL TAX REVENUE”
“CALIFORNIA SOCIAL SERVICES OVERWHELMED WITH INFLUX OF NEW IMMIGRANTS FROM ARIZONA”
“CALIFORNIA BOARDS OF EDUCATION UNDERFUNDED FOR UNEXPECTED JUMP IN NEW GRAMMAR SCHOOL ATTENDEES”
Shall I go on?
Utah is considering the same law, as is Minnesota and Ohio; though Ohio will probably have to wait till next year when Kasich is Governor.
picturing the shock and dismay on the faces of Libs when Jan Brewer announces that the state budget has suddenly shifted back into line
As is Missouri (of all places)
Examples of Things That Have Always Been Bad Ideas:
Peeing into the wind
Tugging on Superman’s cape
Pulling the mask off the ol’ Lone Ranger
`Vamos! Now les go screw with los Mormonos!’
Good riddance.
I think the state and the other states should sue the U.S. Attorney General for his failure to enforce the immigration and border laws of the U.S., which is exactly what the Arizona law does. If the fed won’t enforce the law then the state is free to take action to enforce them.
As a husband and father, doesn’t he really belong where he can provide their support?
The illegals need to go Gay Frisco where they will be loved, honored, revered and treated like royalty.
What we need to do is buy a bunch of one way non-refundable tickets to San Francisco and go down to the Arizona’s local Home Depots and pass them out. We can also print up a flyer in spanish that explains that San Francisco loves illegals and will furnish them with food, medical care and housing for free.

Love Flagstaff. Mountainy, cooler yet still Arizona.
That's all good news for Arizona, but *bad* news for California.
I feel for our California FReepers.
