The 76-year-old Mojave Cross war memorial in San Bernardino County's High Desert has been torn down by vandals, just days after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the religious symbol could remain -- at least temporarily -- on public land.
Sometime Sunday night, the cross was taken down from its perch atop Sunrise Rock in the Mojave National Preserve, according to Liberty Institute, a group that represented veterans groups and caretakers of the cross in the recent Supreme Court Case.
"This is an outrage, akin to desecrating people's graves," said institute president Kelly Shackelford. "It's a disgraceful attack on the selfless sacrifice of our veterans. We will not rest until this memorial is re-installed."

When you finally realize or accept that all vestiges of Christianity and Judaism must be wiped out in order for the agenda currently underway to proceed, then you will have wisdom. That is why there is enmity between the world and Israel, and since most Jews and Christians have resolved the past issues that divided us, Christians are now enemies as well. The Church will leave, the Jews will put it all together and understand the last chapter of their story — salvation came through the Jew. Does anyone know what happened to the cross itself? The article says it was “taken down,” but no more. Was it destroyed? Taken away? Burned? Desecrated?

It would certainly be nice if the original, historic cross could be restored. But if not, then replaced.
