A question for birthers: why Mombassa?

The origin of modern myths and legends is a side interest of mine, the birther myths among them.

Now I understand why Obama being born in Kenya made it into your belief system, despite it being physically impluasible (requiring around 5 days and five flights, most on propeller planes) and financially impossible (it would have cost about a year of her parents' combined salaries) for Stanley Ann & Obama Sr. to travel there for her to give birth. After all, Obama's Father was from Kenya, so if you are going to make up a myth about Obama being born abroad, what better place than Kenya?

Implausibilty, and even impossiblilty doesn't deter the making of myths if there is a strong emotional reason to believe them, as in this case.

What I don't understand is, of all possible places in Kenya, why make Mombassa the birthplace in your myth? If you look at the map of Kenya, it's on the other end of the country from Obama Sr.'s village, 762 miles away, which would make it a minimum 2 day train ride. Probably longer, since Kenyan trains were very fast in 1961.

I suppose you could argue that there were no hospitals in Obama's village, so they had to travel to a major city. But Nairobi was closer, and more modern.

So why Mombassa? Not only is it completely implausible; I don't see the emotional appeal. Why Mombasssa rather than his father's village? Or why Mombassa rather than Nairobi?

Help me out here, birthers. Why do you reserve this special place for Mombassa in your belief system?

That COLB is a walk up document and cannot be used for a passport and he presented a Long Form BC to obtain his first passport. Here is a Long Form from a Hawaiian who asks Barry the same question. Where is your Birth Certificate?

The Hawaiian COLB IS in fact used for US passports. In fact, since 2001 when the state went paperless, it is the ONLY official birth certificate of the state. The COLB meets federal guidelines because it is printed on safety paper and is therefore unable to be altered while the old long forms are easy to forge or alter.
I cannot figure out what additional information that is on a 1961 Hawaii long form has any relevance to eligibility to be president from what is on the COLB. The Constitution does not require birth in a hospital or delivery by a physician.
In any event, Obama’s original birth documents can be subpoenaed without Obama’s permission by (and I quote the statute) “A person whose right to inspect or obtain a certified copy of the record is established by an order of a court of competent jurisdiction;” [Hawaii Revised Statutes 338-18(b)(9).

Why obies kindergarten records? Why not?

Obama’s Noelani Elementary School Kindergarten records, oddly missing from the the State of Hawaii Department of Education, is the first in a series of “coincidences.”

Although Obama has had a first-class education that spanned 25 years, there is only a single document that has ever been released, the application for entrance to the Franciscus Assisi Primary School (next item) — and that document was discovered by independent investigators.

This is an important feature because Kindergarten records for original school entry would have contained the following:

1. Obama’s REAL Birth Certificate.

2. An application with the following:

• His Legal name.
• Parents or Legal Guardians’ names.
• Date of Birth
• Place of Birth
• Vaccination Records (revealing a timeline to the place and DOB.)

It also is important for two additional reasons:

A. The Department of Education does not “lose” the records of one particular student. (So, who paid whom what sum to make this record disappear?)

B. There would have been NO shameful low-test scores, NO embarrassing Equal Opportunity advancements, and NO trails of fraudulent funding to hide that could possibly “excuse” the quashing of public school Kindergarten entry records. For the rest of his life he attended very expensive private schools and has had his records legally sealed to deny the public his true life story.

This is different. Hawaii should be able to verify he attended their school since he is featured in class photographs. State and federal tax dollars paid for his initial year of education. Why is there no documentation?

This is the beginning of an intentionally erased life of a fraud and conman and it reeks of complicity by officials within the State of Hawaii’s
Dept. of Health and Dept. of Education.

Obama joked during the primary campaign that his opponent (Hillary) was even digging into his Kindergarten records. He knows what they would contain and why they must be kept unavailable.

You are being deceptive again, the long form can be used to verify doctor and hospital or informant signed the form.
Second Hawaii had long forms readily available until 2009 and in fact were necessary for Hawaii Homelands applications, when they curiosly changed their policy. Why did they change their policy? What are they hiding?
Long forms are currently available and always have been and you know it.

Why is his place of employment relevant? I brought up his daughters simply to show that women did choose to give birth at the facility.

LOL. I take it you've never coached a woman through labor. I have. Let me provide you with an insigh: it's pretty overwhelming and doesn't leave the woman or her husband with much time for socializing.

As to mixed race babies, this is Hawaii we're talking about.

My husband went to Kenya in the 80’s before I met him and he flew into Mombassa and out of Nairobi. Maybe his mom was trying to fly back to the states and started having labor pains and delivered there, just a thought without proof. I used to work with a British nurse who worked in a hospital in the late 70’s or early 80’s I think in Nairobi and she said they constantly treated machete wounds, so much she left after one year.
