Thats Dr. Glenn Beck Thanks to Liberty University
Saturday morning in Lynchburg, Virginia, Liberty University conveyed an honorary doctorate in humanities and scientists on Mormon conservative media heavyweight Glenn Beck.
Breaking into his trademark tears, Beck told the stadium of 8,000 Liberty University grads and 20,000 friends and family members, "as a man who was never able to go to collegeI went for one semester but I couldnt afford any more than that---I am humbled and honored."
This was such an inspiring speech, gave me chills. My sister will graduate from Liberty next year, it is truly a great place.

Is this the speech that Liberty was being blasted for? You know - cause Beck isn’t the same faith as the University (even though the long standing practice of inviting folks in for the secondary event has been to invite folks from many walks)....
Yes. How dare they.
(sarcasm)
Excellent. Glenn is the most courageous person in the country.
The chalkboard needs to go ... but other than that the man is such a hard worker working for the best things.
One great guy. He certainly has grown up after youthful years of some turmoil.
I love the chalkboard all the more because the left mocks the chaulkboard. I can imagine why too. It’s got the truth for all to see.
I must say, I was very disappointed in the many Freepers that were dis-sin Glenn Beck and/or Liberty!
Liberty Univ. is the best place to send your child..I know as we did.
Liberty has many different speakers...from many different faiths. Glenn Beck is a man I feel God has placed at this point in time as he is saying things we need to hear... God can use people from all walks of life (christian or not).
Stop all the infighting...this is why OUR message is not getting out there. We are not united! So what if he spoke at Liberty..what business is it of yours to go off on like children.. Grow up, stop eating your own..we are FACING MUCH BIGGER ISSUES HERE THAT WHO TALKS WHERE....
Go Glenn!
I like the chalkboard too.
Okay. But I wish he could try to write (print) a little better so it actually can be read.
;-)
Still .... Glenn is a national treasure. I pray for him, Stu, and Pat.
_________
I'd like to see November next week.
;-)
You know...for those relatives and close friends who have issues...we ought to consider a chalk-board for Christmas for these folks.
There is real danger even after we take back congress.
Before the end of the year, before the new members are sworn in he will initiate a raft of taxes that will further cripple the economy.
These people are downright evil.
“Liberty Univ. is the best place to send your child..I know as we did.”
Disagree. Bob Jones has a higher academic situation.
I love the chalkboard!!
America needs the chalkboard .. because the schools haven’t used them in years .. and it shows!!
Good one! I happen to agree too. The chalkboard leaves the words hanging in the air long after they are spoken. Got to be killing the Progressives/Commies.
As with the chocolate..keep your hands off the chalkboard and nobody gets hurt!
Yes, we are addicted to the chalkboard. That said, other props would break up the monotony for the chalkboard overstimulated.
Yep - that’s it .. and along with the hanging words are the hanging faces - over and over and over he makes the connection between the words and the faces.
I’ve saved Tue Wed and Thur from this past week, and shortly I’m going to watch them again - having saved them on my DVR. This week was so loaded with info .. I like to watch it more than once to be sure I got all the facts straight.
FANTASTIC !! Thank God for Glenn (and Sarah
and all those who fearlessly toil for freedom
and walk with Him).
