She argued that contraceptives should be covered by health insurers because they are “expensive” — and then said you could get them for “free” from your OB/GYN’s office.

Well it is the Detroit Free Press after all. You can't expect that publications to understand such nuances of American society.
Where did you see anything about her supporting Hezbollah. Being an American of Lebanese descent (meaning that her parents might have come from Lebanon or perhaps her grandparents), and Lebanon has been overrun by Hezbollah with Syria's help, it is at least as likely that she hates Hezbollah as it is that she supports it.
Interesting stuff from Schlussel. Even more interesting was that she was able to pen several paragraphs without taking any gratutitous cheap shots at Sarah Palin. I’m sure she’ll correct that oversight with her next column.

Where she gets booed by the way. Nunez is the same freak who asked Carrie Prejean about same sex last year. Total set up I tell you guys.

The “trickle down effect” of Anti-Americanism, beginning with the POTUS. All things Muslim... (Remember, we are not a “Christian nation”...according to the great one), so we “need” contraception coverage, pole dancing Muslim “winners” to represent U.S.

NOPE, Perez I bend over often Hilton was the freak last year....seems if you want to eliminate a contestant for political reasons...it’s OK with Trump.She wasn’t asked about her relatives and Hezbollah, or her pole dancing. Nunez needs to bolster his standings in Hollyweird. So he will kiss the rump of anyone who will help his career.

Schlussel isn’t the most authoritative source in my opinion, but I was very impressed that she managed to get through this particular screed without including any gratutitous snipes at Sarah. It would be interesting to see if there is any other verification of the new Miss USA’s family ties to Hezzbollah from credible independent sources.
On a personal note; as an immigrant from Vietnam; I am 110% behind the law pass by the Arizona state legislature. We need to deport all illegal out of our country. If you are here illegally, that mean you broke the law; therefore you need to be deported, no question ask. I don’t have any problem about being ask for proof that I’m here in the country legally by member of law enforcement.
