All: I'll be Glenn's guest next Tuesday discussing my new book, Seven Events that Made America America. Among the events are *Martin Van Buren has a nightmare . . . and gives us the Democratic Party *Johnstown fights a flood . . . and shows the power of private philanthropy
and my favorite, How rock music helped bring down the Iron Curtain.
Woohoo! I’ll be watching LS!
Good for you LS, make sure you tell Glen how much he meens to us at FR. I’ll give your private mail a heads up call
I’ve made a note to remind everyone for the Glenn Beck TV thread beforehand.
Johnstown fights a flood . . . and shows the power of private philanthropy
Which was no doubt the last time any private sector activity occurred in Johnstown, PA.
Congrats and good luck with the appearance!
actually “Martin Van Buren’s Nightmare” is a very cool euphemism for the Dems!
Thank God for Glenn Beck and his guests like you LS :-)
Congrats, good luck, and I’ll be watching...
We totally expect a FR plug. Good luck
You know, some of us like to take the occasional potshot at the guy (and why not, nobody’s perfect) but Beck is the only one out there, the only one, who does what he does. And thank God for him.
Hey LS...if he stumps you with a question...look into the camera and say I JessDuntno...then wink three times, pull your left ear and flap your right arm three times like a chicken...I told everyone that I know we were close personal friends...it’s kind of a Carol Burnett thing.
Too much?
Excellent, LS!
BTW, A patriots history of the United States is a good book. Even if you don’t like long books it is written in a way that it can be easy as a reference.
agreed, I do not miss his TV show if I can help it. overall a darn good fella. I do wish he would cool his love fest with FR hater and after birther bill o’reilly tho. oh well. good luck on the show LS.
Good for you and I will watch. Thanks for the notice.
Actually, Johnstown recovered far faster than NO. The trains were loaded and arriving within 24 hours, all from the private sector. Private police secured the city long before the national guard got there. Same with the Dayton flood of 1913: National Cash Register and Mr. Patterson bailed out the city.
TV or radio? I’ve marked my calendar!
bump
Great! Will be taping it. bttt
