The NOTUS (Narcissist of the United States) this morning took credit for coming up with the solution to plug the hole spewing out crude oil. Looks like that effort is on the road to failing. So Obummer has to take responsibility for this failure. Obviously, he interfered and tried to play engineer and that is the reason for this failure.

On the one hand, I hate to see that the effort to plug the holel may have failed. But, on the other hand, I’m glad because ultimately we can clean up this oil spill, but every day with Obama as President is a DISASTER FOR AMERICA. And, every instance in which Obama can be humiliated and weakened is a GOOD DAY FOR AMERICA.

There's no end in sight for the situation in the Gulf of Mexico. Anderson Cooper reports live tonight from the region as BP attempts to stop the leak.

What are we seeing on the live feed? It looks like a bent and ruptured pipe, with what appears to be mostly drilling fluid ( “mud” ) spewing out of the ruptures, mixed with oil. I presume it is under pressure from pumping it into the drill hole at another opening.

I believe the idea is that it has to penetrate downward so that it’s accumulated weight can contain the upward pressure. If it can’t get deep enough it will not “take hold”, and this would be the feared mode of failure, as I understand it.

Does anybody know of any commentary explaining the live feed images? Earlier this evening they showed some ROV activity, with a remote arm actually turning a dial at one point. Then it moved around and gave a view of some other equipment, but it was all a complete enigma to me.
