On Memorial Day, May 31, a lone Jewish teenaged boy encountered a mob of protesters in the streets of Los Angeles at the Israeli consulate. Waving Palestinian flags and shouting chants denouncing Israel for interdicting a flotilla of ships supposedly carrying humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, members of the mob began shouting "Allahu Akbar" - Allah is the Greatest - in Arabic and menaced the boy who defiantly raised an Israeli flag in silent witness.

This young Jewish boy, with more heart then smarts, would be in the hospital, or possibly dead today if it was not for the cops that protected him.

Assimilation doesn’t mean agreeing with conservative ideas. It means living by certain societal standards, operating within the strictures of local law and speaking the local language.

And I agree, that kind of behavior has no place here, regardless of who is involved. Still, I’m not convinced the people on that street were Muslim. Ignorance, sympathy for terrorists and hatred of Israel and the Jews does not a Muslim make.
I think those were ignorant idiots who think they’re Muslim, but are really just discontent youths that align themselves with a radical group because that’s what discontent youths do. Maybe when they actually learn something about Islam they can become Muslims, but until then they’re just political shock troops. And idiots.
