Lt. Gov.

Abel couldn’t have won had it not been for all these unknowns. I still can’t find any info on these folks – some didn’t provide a candidate statement or have a website. Weird.

Back after 8 PM to see what rises to the top..

Okay -- it's after 8PM. Where'd ya go? I've been talkin' to myself all night, LOL.

I go away for a year and no one does life threads anymore?

I posted a bunch of election results as the ballots got counted. It doesn't look like Prop 14 will flip. :-(

Along those lines....adopt the Nebraska model and go for a unicameral.

What does an assemblyman do that is different from a state senator?

Both of them just suck donations (maybe bribes) out of the political system.

Welcome Back

Welcome back
We always could spot a friend, welcome back
Welcome back
And I smile when I think how you must have been
And I know what a scene you were learning in
Was there something that made you come back again
And what could ever lead ya
(what could ever lead ya)
Back here where we need ya
(back here where we need ya)
Yeah, we tease her a lot cause we got her on the spot
Welcome back
Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back
Welcome back, welcome back

IMO, this was a disastrous election for California considering its position.

Live threads. Haa! are there cars racing or golf balls flying? :-}

I pooped out early, watched some America’s Got Talent .. You always were a glutton for punishment along with all those who chose not to vote yesterday and have squandered yet another wave of opportunity to save this state from inevitable collapse from rot within.

Another golden opportunity ,, Poof. Prop 14 officially kills the Ca GoP off as a viable party so there is hope. Maybe in a few hundred years , it’ll evolve and emerge from the shadows a new and even more impotent force. :-)

The stage is set. The players are queued.

Lights Camera.. “Action!”

We knew with some certainty that the results were going to be disappointing, CCG -- might as well put of getting confirmation of our worse fears until the next day.

LOL! You are too funny!

LOL. I fell asleep sometime, maybe shortly, after 8. Woke up about 2AM.

I think maybe I felt the disappointment coming and wanted to hide out for a short while. You-know-what can wait.

Looks like I wasn’t alone in that.

Sorry to abandon you. I thought it was a good idea to remove myself from the forum before I went more postal than I already was.

It’s so great to see you back. I’m sorry about 14 too. Darn it.

Take care kiddo. Don’t be a stranger. We miss you.

I’m holding out too, well not for that of course. I meant that Prop 14 miracle. ;^)

Take care.
