Barack Obama's Square Box [The least qualified person ever to be elected president]
The American Spectator ^ | June 18, 2010 | Daniel Oliver

Posted on 06/18/2010 12:30:12 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

When John F. Kennedy Jr.'s plane crashed into Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, in July 1999 some observers said he had gotten himself into a "square box," meaning that he had run into the limits of his experience and his imagination.

Barack Obama is in a square box, and observers are now beginning to talk about his inevitable crash.

There was some question about JFK Jr.'s flying experience. There's no dispute about Barack Obama's executive experience: he has none. In fact, he is the least qualified person ever to be elected president.

Prior to being elected, he had done almost nothing. Certainly nothing requiring, or teaching, executive ability.

He served in some capacity as a "community organizer," which Sarah Palin might say is like running a Sunday-school picnic, but without the kids.

He worked as a civil-rights attorney, whatever that means. And he taught at a law school, which may be why he always sounds as if he's lecturing to twenty-somethings.

He served in the Illinois legislature for a few years, but spent most of his time voting "present." Then he served in the U.S. Senate, but for only two years.

Would the directors of any mid-sized company have asked him to be its CEO? He wouldn't even have qualified for -- in Ross Perot's memorable phrase -- middle management.

He is a man without significant executive experience in life.

He also seems to have little imagination. His supporters say he is tremendously brilliant. Maybe. But how do we know? Obama has never released his college or law-school grades, and, given the educational institutions he attended (Columbia College and Harvard Law School), we are entitled to assume he may have been an affirmative-action admittee. As he was to the White House.(continued)

JFK, Jr., was a man of modest ability and 2nd rate mind who was pushed his entire life until he ended up dead in his airplane, taking both his wife and sister-in-law with him. I believe he failed the bar three times (perhap because he was forced into being a lawyer). He failed in business despite the millions he had in backing, plus the Kennedy Fixers — the thugs who the old bastard Joe created to follow all his sons and grandsons and save themselves from themselves (see: Chappaquiddik). The summer he died I was doing some 135 flying on the Cape and Islands. The sky and sea often blended together in low visability, with the vis dropping to less than a mile with no warning. Difficult flying for someone with an ATP and thousands of hours of experience. When he rejected his instructor’s offer to accompany him on what was guaranteed to be IMC, he showed the same arrogance of privilege he had been taught his entire life. Or perhaps he felt driven to show how well he could do alone. He got into IMC and promptly died, hitting the ocean at a descent rate of 2,200 feel per minute in either a spiraling turn or a spin. Sort of like what Obama is experiencing now with the Gulf Spill.

Obama tries to operate, but being a pathological narcissist makes him feel that nobody else exists. And narcissists by definition can’t see that they have a problem; it’s always somebody else who has the problem and needs to change

The worst part of all of this is that dimocrats and their supporters do not face the same criminal consequences that normal people do.

They will all go scott free and "Oh well, too Bad, so Sad" for the USA....

But even pathological narcissists eventually (with some notable exceptions )have that dreaded head-on collision with reality.

And IMO Obama is getting awfully close to his.

If he picks up a paper or turns on a TV, he is going to learn that his rats are abandoning ship.

At first it'll bother him unconsciously...with little bouts of depression as the truth tries to push through to the surface. He'll schedule more and more golf as his avoidance behavior intensifies. He'll notice (or think he notices) his staff whispering about him in the hallways and behind his back.

Drip, drip, drip...

And living like a king on our dime.

Has anyone kept track of the hours he's put on Air Force One (and accompanying vehicles?)
His shopping trips?
Trips to see Broadway shows?
Tourist trips to foreign countries on distant continents?

To use his own words, "We are tired of words; we don't want to hear more words; we want effective action and results."

Minimal competence is expected, not an option.

If you can't find good help, just try looking beyond the clueless progressive radical National Socialist reservation...

I’m totally with you, in being one hundred percent convinced that Obama is way more of an inept bungler than a world class master mind. This guy is in over his head has no idea why things are spiraling out of control. He wanted to create a Marxist/socialist paradise, but what he’s got is a mess the size of Saturn.

Here is a thread that speculates one of his problems is that he has no trust in his advisers. If it’s true, not only is Obama clueless—he has no idea where to turn. This is going to get far worse before it begins to get better.

My guess is Barry’s grades were worse than Dubya’s, so he can’t release them because it would belie all that bravo sierra about being brilliant.

Great thinking. If he really is as smart as is believed, he'd release his grades and the MSM would never stop showing them while comparing to Dubya's.

We tried to warn them by nominating an inept, senile codger?

No, we sent them the message that we couldn’t care less about this country.

"And we actually have his fellow ass-wipe Harry Reid to thank...’cuz when Little ADHD Barry started getting BORED in the Senate"

I knew he had been selected by somebody back in 2004 when he gave the keynote speech at the Dem's convention.

He’s not only the least qualified man to ever become President (surpassing failed haberdasher Harry Truman) but possibly the least qualified major party nominee ever. Trying to think who may have been less ready to be President. Maybe socialist demagogue WJ Bryan.

Signs that he’s incompetent abound.

I don’t believe he’s a secret Muslim terrorist sympathizer or anything like that though I can excuse those who do. I believe he’s arrogant, clueless, and an extreme liberal ideologue.

Greatest empty suit candidate ever, horrible leader. He’d do well to listen to people who have some idea how to govern the United States. I think his very very high level of arrogance prevents him from deviating too far from his own ideas and plans.

I wonder if they people that made (Hyde park intelligentsia/Soros/whoever) him regret their choice.
