NUGENT: The Declaration of Defiance

Defiance is the DNA of America. Every fiber of my being is overdosed on high-octane defiance. I often rise in the morning convinced that I am Rosa Parks with a loud guitar. It is beautiful.

From our forefathers tossing tea into the Boston Harbor over abusive taxes; to the brave defenders of the Alamo, who were outnumbered 25-to-1; to Brig. Gen. Anthony C. McAuliffe, who answered the Nazi punks with "Nuts!" when he was asked to surrender at Bastogne during the Battle of the Bulge, the DNA of America is rife with proud defiance.

We celebrate our freedom on Independence Day, but when you read Thomas Jefferson's Declaration of Independence, it could have easily been called the Declaration of Defiance.

Ted is quite the defy boy . I could keep trying to forget he was a draft dodger if he would lay off the bombastic military metaphors .

People make mistakes when they are young and stupid. I did and I'll bet you did too. Like him or not Ted Nugent is a loud voice and we need more of them now. And by the way I was not a draft dodger.

i’m with him on this. i just want to be left alone. unfortunately, the progressives are seeing me and people like me, ie: those making over $50k, as the ‘rich’ that should pay for everything starting next year.

and how many people make over $50k/yr? only 25% of the workforce... which totals 140m people.

that means, starting next year, 35m people will pay for everyone. that’s roughly 1 in 10 (when you count the illegals)

it’s at a point where the word ‘NO’ keeps coming mind.

‘NO” i won’t pay for you to kill more American babies. ‘NO’ i will not pay $2b to brazil so they can drill for oil, while shutting down ours
‘NO’ i will not pay for someone else’s mortgage instead of my own
‘NO’ i will not apologize for working hard my whole life
‘NO’ i won’t congratulate the POTUS for being ‘brave’ when outing top secret nuclear weapons information
‘NO’ i won’t blame BP for mismanaging the oil leak cleanup
