They eye is very close to the coast and things should start to slow down once inland. That is, if there’s no bounce up the coastline.
Early last week I had recommended Corpus to laine, to visit this week, not realizing this thing was on the way LoL
Hey, the surf’s up!
Wet here, north of CC, couple of limbs down, nothing major. Don’t know further south.
It's been raining off-on here in Mobile for three days now...weather from this system I suspect.
Yeah, other than the rain it looks pretty cool in CC.
As long as you don’t try and drive anywhere.
Was a bit difficult at times coming home earlier. You could see twenty miles to the west and twenty feet to the east, then everything went away. Hydroplane city! LOL
Bump Dat...
As Hurricane Alex approaches the area the swell waters reached Padre Blvd flooding portions of the street at some point reaching businesses and homes on South Padre Island Wednesday. (Josh Bachman/Valley Morning Star)
Thanks for the ping. Looks like an interesting night on South Padre.

Unexpected!
Just outside of Brownsville. (Joey Trevino/Brownsville Herald)
Hey! There is plenty of parking!
My daughter already had a Condo rented for us for next month. The last hurricane that went through there messed up some of the Condo’s for even the following year!
Our forecast is for two inches of rain tonight, two tomorrow, and one tomorrow night. Tornado warnings at present.
Fortunately, Alex ran into land and out of fuel. Otherwise, the storm was beginning to bomb today.
