I checked my account today, and there was a second charge reversing the first.
This was done without my approval or request. I have made many political donations using this credit card in the past, including $425 to that schlub Fred Thompson.

I have had similar experiences on some BOA CCs. Thin of BOA as the company who makes loans to illegals, and issues the CCs as well..

In the UK CC-card issuers will sometimes reverse a charge that they believe violates the user’s normal pattern of behavior, in an attempt to protect them.
Which doesn’t sound like what happened to you. Best if you try remaking the donation, I guess.

Mine went through w/o a hitch and has not been reversed.
I received a receipt from Arizona and a thank you from the governors office where I sent a good luck type of email.
