More states seek exemption from protecting military voters

More states have sought an exemption from compliance with new federal law designed to ensure our soldiers, sailors and marines in forward operating bases have enough time to get their ballots and vote.
The federal law requires that they be sent ballots at least 45 days in advance of an election.
Washington has joined the growing number of states seeking to avoid compliance with new Federal law, known as the MOVE Act to protect military voters. I will be reporting at Pajamas Media shortly about the states which have sought a waiver, the Pentagons reaction to the submissions, and the Department of Justices attitude toward protection of military voters in the upcoming mid-term elections.
See the Washington waiver submission here.

Democrats looking to deny and cheat the military from the counting of their votes, as they know the majority of military personnel will vote Republican. Another dirty trick by the Democrats.
In the meantime, the Democrats offer felons, criminals, and illegals all the rights of law-abiding citizens, the right to vote and have their vote counted, as the Democrats know the majority of these groups of people will vote Democrat.

Why do I suspect they are all blue states and love to have illegal aliens register to vote.

Does this law cover all elections? There no excuse for national and state wide elections. I could see some cities or counties not having a ballot complete 45 day before an local election.

This was as bipartisan bill as we'll ever see. Schumer introduced it. Brownback, DeMint, Inhofe, Ensign, Thune, Cornyn, Lieberman, Kerry, Kennedy, Leahy, Feinstein, Cantwell and dozens of others were co-sponsors.

Junked up site, wasn't it? Managed to download the pdf of the Washington State waiver and then uploaded it to another site here:
Washingtonwavier.pdf
Not a big download, only 5 pages long. Screen shot of part of the 1st page:

So, that gives WA about a month to certify the primary and get the ballots printed and mailed. Unless the races are close that should be no problem.
I’m going to distribute this to some of the Veterans groups and see if I can get a response. Unfortunately, our Veterans’ groups usually side with the SEIU because they have been led by a life long bureaucrat.
