The good thing is that the comments to the article in the Wash Times pretty uniformly call it out as a load of crap.

I think Cahn and Carbone have been watching too many movies.

"[I]f you want to find two-parent families with stable marriages and coddled kids, your best bet is to bypass Sarah Palin country and to go Nancy Pelosi territory," scholar Jonathan Rauch wrote in National Journal magazine. Unfortunately, both "parents" in this scenario are of the same gender.

In blue states, families tend to be well-educated, have high-paying jobs, be tolerant of diversity and be politically liberal. They marry later in life, have children in wedlock and are dedicated co-parents.
This is sheer bunk. How many families in inner city Detroit, Cleveland, Newark, LA, Chicago, etc. fit that description? And how "red" are they?

No stereotyping in this article! Snort.
What would you expect from a study performed by 2 single women who have never spent a day in the real world?
Career academics, like actors and rock stars, shouldn't be taken seriously.

This shows that "blue" families have adjusted to the evolution of America's family culture, while "red" families have not, Ms. Cahn and Ms. Carbone said As the "blue" families have largely created the "evolution of America's family culture" its hardly surprising they have adjusted to it more.

This is laughable.
I will bet you the highest incidences of divorce, illegitimacy, crime, spousal/child/drug/alcohol abuse are not just higher in blue state families but outrageously high among blue state CONSTITUENCIES

How elitist of these “ladies.” Wonder if they set out in an unbiased way and came to this conclusion . . .or set out to “prove” their conclusion beforehand???
Take one look at this law professor’s (Carbone) CV and you can see leftist education and writings. “Feminism” “partners/partnerships” “unmarried” etc. used alot in speeches and publications.
And take another look at her photo (I suggest you don’t, instead take my word for it) and well . . . you get the picture.

Those remind me of Bluto’s reaction when the Delt rush chairman flashed the slide of Flounder’s mug on the frat house basement wall

I saw both their photos. Too bad I didn’t have a bottle of brain bleach on hand.

“The urban public law school with a small liberal arts feel”
What a slogan. LOL Carbone is just another “diversity” hire who can’t get a real job in the real world.
All she can do is try to justify her own low self-esteem with this condescending “blue families are better” when the reality is just the opposite. Just follow the money Professor. There’s a big reason why the reds build it and the blues follow, whether it’s neighborhoods, schools, shopping districts. Actions speak louder than words.
