This used to be a country where everybody (with a valid birth certificate) could grow up to be president.

Since when does qualification for the job require the approval of critics and pundits?

I think you are a sexist....plain and simple. It's perfectly apparent with your first statement. Maybe, maybe not"

You are thus labeled....a sexist.

Great..we have that pinned down.

BTW...I'm not a sexist, and I am a male..and think that there certainly are women that could be the POTUS. By your very words....you think it's a "maybe, maybe not"..That seals it.

Thanks--we know where you stand.

“Schaffley is from the very, very, very, very old school. Right on some thing but still wonders where they left the keys to her Model T.”

Sounds like a good match for Pissant. Is Phyllis available? Think of a romantic afternoon on the front porch with Pissant whispering the latest Duncan Hunter 600-watt radio station interview into her hearing aid.

Let's face it - she quit her position as the governour of Alaska because of how mean the media was to her and her family.

That's a bogus, discredited meme.
FReepers are supposed to be legendary at sniffing out the BS and getting the facts, except of course, when Governor Palin is the topic.

She didn’t say Palin is a lightweight you said that.

It’s not quite the same thing.

Is it?

I could vote for Sarah. But then, I could vote for Huck, and I could vote for Newt. I could vote for anybody who is willing to get down in the mudd and tussle with that pig. Anybody who will get in his face and punch back hard. Come to think about it, last time around, the only one I *wouldn’t* have voted for, in the primaries, was mcpain.

Care to guess what the post to Rudeboy was right before that one, toots?

Unless the last name is Thatcher, slim chance I’d be pushing a chick for prez.

That's the best you can do?

I don't support your apparently preferred candidate because I have serious doubts about her ability to really stick by the stuff when it comes to more than just speechifying and signing books, and you say I'm "sexist?"

Good grief, no wonder this country is in such pitiful shape.

For what it's worth, my wife agrees with me, and I showed her this thread. She thinks most of you guys on here are fags.

I wonder what men she thinks are ready - Romney, Pawlenty, DeMint? All these need an Energiser Battery implant.

I’d like to see Mr. Newt play the Cheney role - attacking from the back and eminently qualified to step in if needed.

Why would anyone consider any further explanation of what you have to say, especially when you refuse to do so for others, including Sarah Palin?

Sorry, hon, no dice.

You keep trying to fool everyone with 'context'. We'll stick to your actual words.

I ask you again: do you think Duncan Hunter would want anything to do with someone who posted on a conservative site he doesn't think women should be allowed to vote?

Obama changed the election calculus...and she changed with it.

She exceeds Obamas's experience and success record. The game has undergone a quantum leap...and only Palin is keeping step with the new rules.

That is why she is the most influential politician in America at present.

That said, you still get the Nobel Prize...for stupid comments.

But don't get big for your breeches...I have made enough stupid comments to qualify for runner up!;-) And I am just getting started!

It's only a "bogus, discredited meme" to those who want it to be because she is their preferred candidate. To those of us who can think clearly, her abrupt departure from her elected position sniffs of weakness, at best, or the cupidity of preferring a book deal over her public trust, at worst.

Since when have you given a rat’s rear end what he thinks. You obviously swallowed Palin’s amnesty hook, line and sinker, which Hunter is 100% opposed.

"...Certainly not the 1/2 black, 1/2 baked Jimmuh Carter model we’ve got now..."

That said, unless SOMEONE else shows themselves before the end of 2011, and Sarah Palin does throw her hat in the ring, she is it.

Because, unless SOMEONE conservative grows a pair, Sarah Palin is the best we have got.

If we run a Bob Dole against Obama, Obama wins. And NONE of the candidates are any better than Bob Dole, with the exception of Sarah Palin. She is the ONLY one who stands out, at least right now.

Phyllis Schafly is one of the people I admire most (See my Freep page) but unless she has someone in mind other than those people out there, we better man up, lady up, or do some kind of up and get the show on the road, or it is going to be eight years of Obama.

What does Hunter have to do with Palin’s (lack of) qualifications?

Wonder how the Palinstinians are going to spin this one?

I'm not necessarily a "Palinista" but had to reply to your post. I have found that it's only the liberals who need "group think" to validate their opinions. I am an adult and don't need the approval of others to validate what I think.

You continue to dig your way to "no one cares what you think" status.......

That's sad buddy..........

Really it is..you've done some hari-cari / quasi-opus deal here on FR....with this fatwa on Palin and women.

I don't get it....but maybe you have your orders.

Good luck....
