Bradley Manning, suspected source of Wikileaks documents, raged on his Facebook page

The US Army intelligence analyst, who is half British and went to school in Wales, appeared to sink into depression after a relationship break-up, saying he didn't "have anything left" and was "beyond frustrated".

In an apparent swipe at the army, he also wrote: "Bradley Manning is not a piece of equipment," and quoted a joke about "military intelligence" being an oxymoron.

Yep, the FBI was founded on that premise, by a cross dressing liberal homosexual maniac

That particularly despicable left wing blood libel doesn't need any help on this board.

Other than scurrilous and cowardly left wing slander, there has never been any suggestion that J.Edgar Hoover was gay.

Exactly. There is absolute zero possibility, that little rump ranger had that kind of access, without any oversight. You can’t even talk on a payphone on a military base without being recorded.

Someone (probably multiple) in very high places, must have been running cover every step of the way. Even if he had clearance, there is still a little thing called “need to know”.

“I’m not sure his alleged homosexuality had anything to do with this.

What about “openly homosexual” does not compute with you?

What about a spat with his ex boyfriend does not compute with you?

There’s nothing “alleged” about his homosexuality.

So it appears that the leakee, manning, was a homo and made no secret about it.

Homosexuality used to be considered a mental disorder for good reason but due to political pressure it is now considered a "normal" lifestyle choice along with being a bisexual, a transvestite and "transgender".

Now the fudgepackers and freaks are considered more heroic than Audie Murphy for having the "courage" to "come out".

One more step towards the abyss everyday with "commander zero" in charge.

I’m sure that the administration will argue that manning’s sexual orientation had nothing to do with this massive security faux pas just like the FT. Hood shooter’s motives for the massacre had nothing to do with his religion.

Where was counterintel on this? Military people in the intelligence field are closely monitored for their internet connections and are strongly discouraged from having social network sites or blogs. People have been kicked out for it.

Since Manning was clearly not bright enough to understand his enlistment contract (Bradley, when you sign on the line which is dotted you are indeed Army equipment)....

...why would the Army think he was bright enough to understand that secrets must remain secret.

Give him a trial. If he is found guilty, hang him the next day from the highest tree you can find.

"I’m not sure his alleged homosexuality had anything to do with this."

That's not accurate. As I understand it, the government has developed reliable information that his homosexuality, and his anger over the DADT issue, was at least an element in his motivation to create this leak. His homosexuality is directly tied to his dereliction of duty and failure to obey orders.

"He must have been raised as a Catholic. or Muslim Foreign religions will kill the US."

Gee, are you a moron, or do you just play one on TV? Tell me genius, was Christopher Columbus an protestant, or was he a Catholic.

When you sitting around the campfire smoking the piece pipe and banging on the tom-tom, do you find bashing Catholics is your favorite, or second favorite pastime?

Skippy is not allowed to be a whiny little bitch on his Facebook page. And Skippy is definitely not allowed to do massive intel dumps to the general public just because he feels like it.

"Are you telling me that some half American weenie buck private had access to 91,000+ pages of confidential OBAMA Defense Department secrets? Woew... Who's running that place?"

It's not his rank that surprises me, so much as it is his other obviously disqualifying characteristics that should have prevented him from getting a security clearance. As you pointed out, his dual-citizenship status is suspect (although not necessarily disqualifying), but his clearly open homosexuality is HIGHLY disturbing. This should have been caught as well as the comments he allegedly made on very public social networking sites.

Beyond Manning, there needs to be SEVERAL people relieved of command.

Back to his rank - while he wasn't the classifier of intelligence, he did work as the "grounds keeper" of intelligence data. Put another way, he was the clerical and technical help that actually performed maintenance on the secured databases.

The F22 is the most advanced weapons platform ever created, but we've got E-2 and E-3s "working under its hood", such is the practical reality of the military.

From what I’ve noted over the years, many homosexuals tend to ignore social barriers in general.

If you punched him in the mouth and knocked out a tooth, they'd be identical twins.
