Last week, in response to a Freedom of Information Act request, the State Department released passport records of Stanley Ann Dunham, President Obama's mother – but those records for the years surrounding Obama's 1961 birth are missing.
The State Department claims that a 1980s General Services Administration directive had resulted in the destruction of many passport applications and other "non-vital" passport records, including Dunham's 1965 passport application and any other passports she may have applied for or held prior to 1965.
Destroyed, then, would also be any records shedding light on whether Dunham did or did not travel out of the country around the time of Barack Obama's birth.
The claim made in the FOIA response letter that many passport records were destroyed during the 1980s comes despite a statement on the State Department website that claims Passport Services maintains U.S. passport records for passports issued from 1925 to the present.
That records that were released, however, do contain interesting tidbits of new information about Obama's mother, including the odd listing of two different dates and locations for her marriage to Obama's Indonesian step-father, Loro Soetoro.

Not the whole record just the years surrounding his birth? Does give one pause, eh?

And the headline is totally misleading. The US government does not destroy passports. They don’t even have them. The passport holders keep them even after they expire or otherwise become invalid. What is actually discussed in the article are the passport APPLICATIONS. The applications won’t tell where the passport holder traveled or when, or even if the passport holder traveled on the passport at all.

I'm worried about the Dems using tons of Porkulus and TARP rake-off graft to cling to their House seats and make our desperately-needed goal of defunding Obamacare and defunding/investigating/prosecuting the Left unattainable.
That would allow Obama to consolidate and then give the vote to the illegals by decree.

State sent me my old 1982 passport back after it expired and I turned it in while applying for a new one. They perforated it and mailed it back. Since then, I've used it when "photo ID required" on one occasion -- it's not good for travel, but it's still ID. And it still has the old Italian visa legible from 1982.
Now the rest of us, the citizens that didn't vote for him, will face the consequences of his destructive policies. He has over 2 years to go in his term and I don't see him slowing down. If the GOP doesn't make strong gains with good conservatives candidates come this November, I'm afraid America will suffer irreparable harm.
I have said this before and I will say it again. The mystery surrounding this family is indicative of a family involved with the spooks.
All you have to do is look into what was going on in Indonesia at the time to see possible reasons.
Could she have been a double or triple agent. Possible.
