The National Boy Scout Jamboree ended, Wednesday, and President Obama broke a quasi-tradition by declining to address the Scouts.
The quadrennial event has been held at Fort A.P. Hill near Washington D.C. since 1981. This year's event celebrated the 100th Anniversary of the organization.
In lieu of an appearance at the 10-day-long Jamboree, Obama appeared on the View, attended several Democrat fundraisers and visited Detroit.
He did send a short videotaped message which reportedly was shown in a mix of several other presentations. When the president appeared he was roundly booed by the 35,000 Scouts, one man who was there said.

You have changed my mind. I agree with you. The Scouts should have stormed the stage, torn down the big screen TV and stomped it into the ground. All the while screaming down with Obama. Maybe an effigy or two would have been appropriate.
That would have been good for the Boy Scouts and good for the country. I'm with ya' now.

If you had lived during the American colonial era in one of the colonies you more than likely would have looked down on all of those American colonists who rejected King George’s tyrannical ways with their very harsh treatment of the King’s officials, their seditious writings, and the kind of tea parties they threw. All you would have been doing is tell everyone to treat King George and company with respect. Well, the colonialists were not interested in respecting tyrants - executive, bureaucrat, judge or otherwise.

I did a little searching, and from what I was able to find, 0bama did delay most of the Eagle Scout certificates, but the info I found seemed to say that he eventually got around to it.
Most likely he did it against his will, so as not to cause an uproar from us hateful racist, commoners.

I do not respect Obama. I do not like him as President. I have and will continue to work to get him out of office

So no matter how tyrannical he gets the Boy Scouts should always show respect? Let the children have their say. They’ll probably be the ones who will change the mess we have allowed ourselves to be conned into.
This is just the beginning. First you think about resisting tyranny, then you start speaking out against it, and then you do something about it. That’s how it happened with the New England colonialists and the Left is scared to death to see it happen again.
Personally, I look at it like this.
Obama’s NOT showing, along with the boos, will spark talk. This will start questioning of the parents by the Sons.
The Sons will gain knowledge from this, and bestow it upon those they meet with later in their lives.
In other words, Obama and his followers just added fuel to the fire.
From what I can see they are doing more than questioning! A few might but the time for questions is over for this generation of boys/young men. They seem to know which side of the aisle Obama stands on and it isn’t on the side of the Scouts.
I am curious as to what his DU or Kos nick is.
It does go to show that they are monitoring this site,although we already knew it.

From what I saw of the Boy Scout video I would have to say that headline is an understatement.
Obama and company only want to destroy the Scouts. Didn’t you see it with the court case that went all the way to the Supremes? Did you notice how the Leftist United Way and city councils pulled their funding of them and the use of any facilities?
For that they they should be shown the highest respect. Correct?
