Bachmann for president?
Politico ^ | 8/5/10 | Ben Smith

Democratic challenger Taryl Clark’s latest attempt to cast conservative icon Michele Bachmann as out of touch with Minnesota voters comes in a fundraising e-mail seizing on speculation that Bachmann has her eye on the White House:

Bachmann said she would run for president if she felt called to it, and said in another interview that it's not what she's doing "right now" - leaving the door wide open. She remarked recently to FOX News that her supporters want her to run for president. And Bachmann's multiple trips to Iowa prompted Politico to report:

"Bachmann has been receiving a little attention in conservative circles as a potential presidential candidate in 2012. And like so many other Republicans seeking a national profile, an early trip to Iowa, with its first-in-the-nation caucus, provides an opportunity to test-drive her presidential appeal."

Run Michele run. If we are going to have a female contender, might as be the most conservative (and attractive).

This won’t be popular to say but I am pretty sure Palin won’t be the answer.

Like to see her as VP first, but if we are going to get a woman prez, I’d rather it not be the feminist.

The sixth district voters in Minnesota are too politically savvy to fall for that bullshit.

Michele will be our next representative in Congress and to take it further politically is up to Michele, not a liberal hack like Taryl.

I would vote for Bachmann.

I have and will again via absentee.

She is a shining light of hope in the DFL directed state of Minnesota.

Bachmann has more ballz than any male politician does nowadays. I seriously think she could whip this country back into shape.. With the help of Paul Ryan as VP of course. What a pair they'd be. If she has no plans on running in 2012, we need to convince her of it.

BACHMANN/RYAN 2012

too politically savvy to fall for that bullshit.

Exactly and that is what Politico brings - BS.

next representative in Congress and to take it further politically is up to Michele, not a liberal hack like Taryl.

BUMP! They like to paint a picture to create doubts/concerns for 'conservative voters'.

And I’m another vote for Bachman.

If she promises to send the loon to the guillotine, I volunteer to play democrat and get a lot of dead people to vote for her too.

She would have my vote too. She always looks and conducts herself in a professional manner. Absolutely presidential material in my book!

Bachmann would be a great candidate....but the Liberal Free Trader Globalist RINOs in the GOP would be trying to marginalize her from day one.

She would win the Presidency if she could over come the Liberal Globalist RINOs

"This won’t be popular to say but I am pretty sure Palin won’t be the answer.

I made a similar statement and got blasted all to hell on another thread. I love Sarah, but I just think she's better suited for a different role than POTUS. Bachmann is another story...I think she has what it takes and would make a great Pres or VP.
