His opponent is a black, conservative, self made businesswoman.
We black Tea Partiers are out there, and it looks like we’re starting to get a lot of attention.
It’s a much-needed development, in my opinion because it informs everyone that not all blacks are still enslaved on the Democrat mind control plantation.
Some of us can actually think for ourselves.
That's the real 'minority group', regardless of race.
I have nothing but the highest respect for black conservatives. You are truly the last victims of institutional racism and to have the courage to stand up to it is probably more than I could muster in myself.

Step off the plantation and into a truly large tent.
Trust me, if you were faced with being ostracized by your natural constituency because of your most deeply held convictions, you'd find the courage to face up to it, too.
A lot of courage simply comes from one's basic cultural orientation. My racial background is secondary to my American identity, as it should be for everyone who calls themselves an American. America was premised and founded on the concept that Americans owe their primary allegiance to THIS country, not to their racial origins, or ties to their ancestral homelands.
This is sometimes the hardest concept for me to get across to other blacks. There's nothing wrong with having pride in your family's ancient origins, but that should be a distant second to one's American identity.
I suppose that I'm lucky to have been raised with the proper cultural orientation to begin with. It made it much easier for me to escape the liberal Democrat plantation.

Someday, I hope to look back at the current monolithic black support of the Democrat party as a distant memory.
Damn straight.
The only identity that has any real meaning is our identity as Americans. Even party affiliation is of a much lower order of importance. If a person doesn't fully support our nation's Founding Principles and constructs, I can't really call them an American.
