Terrorist support and Code Pink co-founder Susan "Medea" Benjamin was arrested tonight at the home of Xe founder (formerly Blackwater) Erik Prince, according to a press release posted by Code Pink.
Erik Prince was not home, having left the United States for Abu Dhabi. Inexplicably, Benjamin was let in the house according to the press release. When Benjamin revealed the true nature of her visit Mrs. Prince threw her out of the house.
CODEPINK cofounder Medea Benjamin and other DC area activists were detained at the home of Blackwater Founder Erik Prince. The group dropped by to deliver a letter urging Prince not to flee the US to extradition-free UAE. His move, though couched by his PR team as a much needed break from the US would in fact eliminate the possibilities that he could be held accountable for the crimes perpetrated by Blackwater while under his control. Benjamin was invited into the Prince home, she then proceeded to explain to Prince's wife why she was delivering the letter; Mrs. Prince then pushed Benjamin out the door and told her to "leave the house immediately". Police soon arrived, entered the house to speak with the Prince family. While statements were being taken by other eyewitnesses, Benjamin was quickly hand-cuffed and arrested.
This stunt by Code Pink marks a new low in their harassment of individuals at their homes.
Maybe Medea didn’t notice all the little red dots on her forehead.
Code pinkers tipping their buddies in the Middle East off?
I am confused as to why she was arrested if she was let in and then left when asked to leave.
Do you believe the Code Pink press release?
“Do you believe the Code Pink press release? “
I didn’t see any other version of events. I am open to hearing what really went on.
It’s just if you are asked to leave, and you leave, I don’t think you should be arrested. Maybe that isn’t what happened.
If I ruled the world, Susan Benjamin would have been tossed in jail long ago and the key would be at the bottom of the Potomac somewhere.
There are a number of scenarios in which I'd press charges in that situation. For starters, if someone entered my house under any false pretense, and I asked them to leave (or forced them out of the house) after realizing it, I'd call the cops once they were out the door if I hadn't done it sooner.
If they loitered at my door or on my property after I told them to leave I'd call the cops immediately.
If they had been insulting or attempted to be intimidating to any member of my family or raised their voice while on my property, after I got them out the door I'd call the cops immediately.
I'd press charges in all the above scenarios. I have no tolerance for demented, wackjob assholes on my property at any time. I would look for reasons to call the police if anyone from Code Pink got in my house for any reason.
Klan Pink members have lost brain cells and eggs.
Thanks kristinn.
Thanks.
