FR Zots Gay Rights RINO Trolls - David Frum Deeply Saddened
Frum Forum ^ | 8/24/10 | RD

Posted on 08/24/2010 10:06:19 AM PDT by TrueRightWing

When Bill Clinton moved to open the military to gays in 1993, the GOP and conservative Democrats led the effort to oppose gay rights. In 1996, Hawaii flirted with gay marriage and the GOP again led the charge against gay equality, culminating in the federal response known as the "Defense of Marriage Act".

Flash forward fourteen years to the present. Gay marriage is ruled a federal right for the first time and the response from the GOP is… tepid. Not one nationally prominent elected official thought the issue was important enough to get worked up over....

Complicating matters for social conservatives, polls show even a majority of Republican voters support abolishing "Don't Ask, Don't Tell"....

The list of conservatives supporting gay equality is growing--from the many Republican appointed judges who have ruled in favor of various gay rights cases, to GOP Solicitor General Ted Olson, Republican Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and even the ultraconservative former Vice President Dick Cheney. Nowadays Margaret Hoover of Fox News sits on the board of GOProud alongside conservative Grover Norquist; and even Elisabeth Hasselbeck has come out in support of gay marriage rights...

What is happening to the GOP? First our elected officials tire of bashing gays and now our pundits? Perhaps Republicans are beginning to see the writing on the wall. Public opinion is changing rapidly in favor of gay marriage rights....

The religious right may be having a conniption, but younger Republicans increasingly appear to believe that opposing gay equality is inconsistent with a belief in increased liberty and smaller government. Although the religious right will continue to be a strong presence in the GOP for years to come, changing demographics are not on the side of anti-gay forces and the GOP appears to be awakening to this reality.

A conservative forum in the natural place for people who agree with Ann Coulter and Grover Norquist and Dick Cheney and David Frum and Ted Olson and....

Not when it's about pushing radical homosexualism.

Have you read what Jim Robinson has to say about pushing militant homosexuality on FR? And if so, do you care?

I'm curious troll, what have your OTHER FR names been?

Hey - Frum - there are no federal rights

Our Constitutional laws were based on natural rights, not the other way around. The left's "rights" are based on man-made laws that spit in the eye of "Nature and Nature's God."

Is that the sequel to "I Am Curious, Yellow"?

I am sorry to say that this battle is over.

Hollywood just has too much sway over public opinion, and for almost a decade Hollywood has been putting openly gay characters into almost every show on TV, and made sure to portray them in a positive light which resembles nothing even close to the life they actually live.

No, the idiots "in charge" haven't a clue what is at stake, as the deviants want to bring the "wholesome conservative goodness" of the Folsom Street Fair to every town in the country.

What’s conservative anymore. Ann Coulter is hanging with the poofters. She’s a conservative, but I don’t get it just the same.

Her indulgence in gay-style sarcastic hyperbole and repartée instead of serious commentary is disappointing; and she has an appealing image for female impersonators.

Yeah, that’s why Gay Marriage was resoundingly voted AGAINST in California.

A non-troll answer when asked about other FR names would be to say that you have never been a FReeper before. But, that is obviously not the case. I'm guessing that you won't last too long under this name either.

this battle is over

Apparently the GOP's political analysis has brought it to the same conclusion.

If you like, I can say "I'm wagglebee's sock puppet".

When people ask serious questions, I give serious answers. When people toss personal insults, I mock them until they realize that they're in over their heads and quit. That's just how it is.

My thoughts exactly. The GOP just wants to win and principles be trashed.

The problem is, however, after you win you must govern. After they win they will govern as liberals, inevitably causing the genuine leftists to crush them once again.

The problems with the GOP (betrayal) are greater than the problems with the Constitution Party (quasi-parochialistic).

This day I will start leaning CP, and perhaps join it.

As a conservative, I’ll always vote for the truly conservative candidate with the best chance of winning. Period.

Dressing up anal sex into flowery civil rights language by ANY conservative trolling for votes is wrong.

And is physically and morally dangerous for our children, those conservatives who you speak of can offer their children on the alter of vote-getting all they want, we cannot control them.

But they are not allowed to speak for the rest of us, or use our children in their crusade.

When people ask serious questions, I give serious answers. When people toss personal insults,

This is a conservative forum that regularly gets swarmed with trolls and often such trolls are pushing militant homosexualism.

To say that YOU fit this into this category is a fact and not an opinion, so it makes perfect sense to ask whether or not you are a retread.

When people toss personal insults, I mock them until they realize that they're in over their heads and quit.

I haven't insulted you, I've simply pointed out that you are a troll pushing militant homosexualism. If you think that I am "in over my head" you have horribly underestimated me.

Those names cited are not in the main conservative; some have a few conservative views - some more, some less. But Olson has gone to the leftist side entirely, Cheney is for the “gay” agenda, Frum gave up on being a conservative (if he was one) a long time ago, Coulter sneers at anyone concerned about 0thugga’s eligilibity and is having fun being the pet of a militant homosexual agenda pushing organization and Norquist is at the least a Islamic jiahdi enabler.

So your list is very revealing.
