President Barack Obama dismissed a recent poll showing that a third of Americans don’t know he’s a Christian – and blamed an online campaign of misinformation by his conservative enemies for perpetuating the myth that he’s a Muslim.
“I can’t spend all of my time with my birth certificate plastered on my forehead,” Obama told NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams, sitting under a tent in a rain-soaked New Orleans, where he commemorated the fifth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina.
“The facts are the facts. We went through some of this during the campaign — there is a mechanism, a network of misinformation that in a new media era can get churned out there constantly,” said a visibly annoyed Obama, referring to “birthers,” who have waged a guerilla campaign questioning the validity of his Hawaiian birth certificate.
“I will always put my money on the American people, and I’m not going to be worried too much about what rumors are floating around there.”
A stunning 18 percent of Americans identify Obama as Muslim, according to a Pew poll released earlier this month. Only a third identified Obama, who speaks passionately about his faith in his autobiography, as Christian.

And if Obama wants it to go away just waive the privacy rights for his academic documents and birth records.
Furthermore, if we are supposed to take him at his word, then he must have converted to Christianity. But that would make him an apostate Muslim -- and to Muslims, the worst kind of apostate: one who renounces his birthright heritage.
So, Obama is either an apostate Muslim, or he is lying.
Given his general reception by foreign Muslim governments, one would have to assume that they certainly do not believe he is an apostate, so the smart money is clearly on the side of the proposition that Obama is lying.
The question becomes, about what? Is he lying about being a Christian? If so, then he's likely not an apostate Muslim, but rather one in "good standing".
The only way we can conclude that Obama is neither a Muslim or an apostate Muslim is if we assume the birth certificate story a lie.
So, which stories are we supposed to believe? If he's been telling the truth, then he's an apostate Muslim, but since he denies that, then logic dictates that he must be lying to us, and if he's lying on that score, then how can e believe anything else?
It goes like this: "Ash-hadu -an-la-ilaha illal-laha, wa ash-hadu anna Mohammad-an Abdo-hu wa Rasulo-uhu wa ash-hadu anna moulana ali-un –vasi-un wa vazir-ah.”

His BC almost certainly says exactly what the Factcheck COLB has on it, but it includes a note of a 2006 amendment (probably to add his birth weight) and it also has a 2006 certificate number and says that it is a LATE birth certificate.
That’s what the research seems to indicate.
Whatever big secret he’s hiding (probably that he was not in Hawaii within the first 30 days of his birth to be examined by a Hawaii doctor who would have finished the Hawaii BC for him), the fact is that the BC he’s got in Hawaii has no legal value. The Passport Office has revealed in an affidavit what is almost certainly a fraudulent “memo” from 1984 in order to explain why they have not released the pre-1967 passport records for Obama’s mother. They have also spent the last year ignoring a request for the index of passports issued, which is required to be kept permanently and would immediately and easily tell what passports Obama’s mother had before 1967. And how would people know? He's of muslim parentage, he has a muslim name name (which in the muslim world means you are, present tense a muslim), muslims do not regard him as an apostate, he shuns Christmas and the Christian-based National Day of Prayer, but has the hots for Ramadan. In his first major speech after the inauguration, at Georgetown U, he went to extraordinary lengths to cover up the image of Jesus in the background with a gigantic sheet, lest the population be confused as to his values.
.......and 3 out of 4 MUSLIMS in the world say he is a muslim.
It's said that he doesn't attend services because it would disrupt traffic, though no president has felt less hesitation about snarling traffic for his speech-o-rama tours, vacations and continous campaigning than this one.
“I can’t spend all of my time with my birth certificate plastered on my forehead,” quipped Obama, who took a deep breath to gather his thoughts when asked if the poll reflected his inability to communicate with voters.
It's interesting that when asked about attitudes regarding his muslim/christian faith.....Obama immediately changes the subject and answers, visibly disturbed, by talking about his birth certificate....
Quite weird.
Unless he believes his birth certificate is evidence of his christianity, which is weirder still.
I believe his new forgery is being artificially aged as we speak.
