Dutch police have detained two men who flew from Chicago to Amsterdam on Sunday night after U.S. screeners found suspicious-looking items in their checked luggage before they departed, U.S law enforcement officials said.

ABC News may be finding out its ratings increase when it tells the whole story and doesn’t leave out important details like the names of the suspects and the materials they were carrying. As for the Washington newzpaper, the Compost is a good name for it or better yet the “Daily Fishwrap.”
They were flying to a Ground Zero victory mosque fundraiser in Yemen and joking about Imam Obama and Mayor Mike prior to their arrest.

I always duct tape my Pepto Bismol to my collection of personal electronic devices before I fly to Europe. Doesn’t everyone? Also, I never leave home without my box cutters, in case I happen upon some boxes that need cutting, and I am sure I am not alone in taking that precaution.
The article is either poorly written or you have to wonder why they were allowed to fly to Schipol after US inspectors found the items in their checked luggage. ??

The Compost article also failed to include “a box cutter and three large knives”, which was reported in the original ABC report.
So the WaPo article makes it look like these terrorist lead men were found to be carrying only some “innocent” items like taped-together watches and the like.
I wonder why The Compost failed to include that little detail. Sloth? Ignorance? Horrible reporting? Deliberate distortion? Trying to help out the Muslim terrorists? You make the call.

I read somewhere else that the reason for the Pepto Bismal was because they were having a case of the dry runs.
