Sebelius: Time for 'Reeducation' on Obama Health Care Law

ABC News' Steven Portnoy reports:

With a number of polls showing a sustained level of opposition to the Democrats’ health care reform efforts more than five months after passage, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said the Obama administration has “a lot of reeducation to do” heading into the midterms.

While some surveys – namely the Kaiser Family Foundation monthly tracking poll – have suggested an uptick in support for the reforms, most other surveys continue to show a steady level of opposition to the new law that remains higher than the favorable opinions of it.

“Unfortunately, there still is a great deal of confusion about what is in [the reform law] and what isn’t,” Sebelius told ABC News Radio in an interview Monday.

RE :”That Simpson is a loose cannon. Obama needs a more predicable RINO on the team.

Yep, liberals on MSNBC now calling for his firing. They want no cuts in SS benefits and an increase in upper cap on those over 120K or so to pay for it. And they actually claim there is a SS trust fund, not kidding. They know they need everyone getting something at retirement, even THE RICH, to keep it from being rightly called welfare.

Simpson is likely to cut some stuff they like. But now more than ever he will defend Obama with their attacks.

Will we be going to the country for re-education as they did in Cambodia?

Reeducation? Wow I always thought that term was used by Soccialist Regimes exclusively.

Reeducation - Taking advantage of the poor, the weak and ignorant. Shameful!

What kind of regime do you think your fellow citizens elected in November 2008?

Good grief. Her job as DHHS head is to run NIH etc. and not be campaigning and shilling for Obama and the RAT party.

I hope all the biomedical researchers appreciate just want attention she is giving (NOT) to health related research.

November is coming, honey. Can't get here fast enough for most of us. All of you Obama-ites are in for a massive "reeducation" come November!

We, as citizens, should get very nervous when progressive, big-givernment people in positions of authority within the federal government start talking about “re-education”. Ask the citizens that Wilson and FDR gathered together during the World Wars in an effort to make sure they were “thinking right”.

Why did Sebelius announce only that reeducation is needed? Why didn’t she begin the reeducation? She could have given us fallacy #1 followed by the truth, and so on.

My opinion is that will never happen because further discussion of the bill will only increase opposition to it.
