"Conduct Unbecoming": A Shocking Book Tells of America's Destruction
Family Security Matters ^ | September 7, 2010 | John Howard

On rare occasions, a book will appear that can alter the tide of public policy. Such a book is Conduct Unbecoming: How Barack Obama is Destroying The Military and Endangering Our Security, by Col. Robert “Buzz” Patterson (Regnery, 2010), released this day. It is a book so compelling, so revelatory, so frightening that it must prompt only one conclusion: our current international circumstances are no accident. They are the product of a philosophy so at odds with American tradition, so at variance with American values, so contrary to the very idea of American exceptionalism, that it virtually repudiates American history.

It is the dark world view of the radical left that regards American history as an unbroken line of oppression, racism, imperialism and destruction. It looks upon every American act with suspicion and even its most selfless projects with cynicism. It is the worldview into which President Obama was born and with which he is most comfortable. It is not merely an opinion. It is the assumption underlying his philosophy of governance and his predisposition in policy.

Col Patterson wrote a previous book about the Clinton WH, and it was an eye-opener.

As a vet w 2 "kids" in uniform, I know the info will tighten my jaws, but...

Ordering the book today.

I simply can’t think of a more appropriate description of Obama as POTUS than “Conduct Unbecoming.”

Conduct unbecoming an American.

Patterson discloses that Code Pink delivered more than $600,000 in aid to the insurgents in Fallujah when the insurgents were killing United States Marines in bloody house-to-house fighting. Most shocking of all, when Evans and Code Pink delivered their money to the murderers of American fighting men, they were traveling under letters of support and diplomatic courtesy provided by Senator Barbara Boxer

Wow! That's horrifying. This book is going to make my blood boil.

The look on that soldier’s face is quite telling.

"To this day, neither President Obama nor Senator Boxer has ever repudiated or, for that matter, even criticized Code Pink..."

Col. Patterson demonstrates how the presuppositions that drive this administration lead to a disrespect for advice from military officers and discomfort with military achievement. In the broader sense, he shows how this distorted view of American history, culture and tradition leads the White House to an abandonment of American ideas and concomitant unilateral moral disarmament, philosophical surrender and diminished American power.

Outstanding review. Extremely well written. I can't wait to get this book.

TS

That should be a game changer in the California Senate race. Somebody should get a copy of this book to the Fiorina campaign.

No thank-you.

The American People have been betrayed by BOTH major political parties.
I have no interest in biased partisan propaganda that merely demonizes one party for the benefit of the other.

They BOTH suck.

Code Pink & Barbara Boxer committed treason. If the Republicans ever get back in power, if they don’t prosecute them, it will be time to march on Washington to demand it.

Why stop there????? This should go to a grand jury for immediate indictments. This is a clear case of treason.

Sounds like a good book but I doubt I'll buy it or read it - in fact - to some degree I don't even know why books like this are written. To wit:

Is there anything that could be written that would make anyone on this blog think any LESS of Obama than they already do? (me=no)

Is there anything that could be written that would make anyone on this blog think any BETTER of Obama than they already do? (me=no)

And the few Obama supporters I've had the unfortunate experience to meet aren't going to be changed by anything written or said.

Maybe there are actually some undecideds out there, but to me there's really no need for any more evidence. The battle lines are drawn and it's a battle we have to win if we want America to survive.

Hmmmm ..?? I loved Patterson’s other book, but right now I’m reading a book by Vince Flynn, “Term Limits”, and it’s really scary - because it’s a perfect picture of what is really happening today (and it was published in 1997).

Although it’s a “fiction book”, it’s really a picture of the totally corrupt people who run out govt.

Everybody ought to read this book! It will shock you! You can find it at most used book stores for just a few dollars. It’s well worth the price.

If true then charges need to be filed. But this is so political it will never see the light of day.
