I haven’t heard if the pastor has talked about receiving support from Americans. If he was, I doubt the msm would report it. I fully support him just to prove how whacked muslims are. I also am waiting to see any new stories about our military burning Bibles to appease the muslims. This crap makes me want to scream.

Instead of a "Burn a Koran" day, why not a "Buy the Koran Day"....and let everyone wonder what we're doing with all those cheap paperbacks on our own private property.

Ann Coulter said it wisely, that this provocation is unkind to those Muslims who wish us no harm. I agree.

But... I am intrigued with all that's swirling around this objectionable, but lawful, expression of Free Speech. Where's the ACLU? The behavior of US Muslims is very instructive. We should fear Shariah more than the "religion" of Islam. As soon as we define Islam as an ideology hostile to the American way of life, the better.

"I HAVE SWORN UPON THE ALTAR OF GOD ETERNAL HOSTILITY TO EVERY FORM OF TYRANNY OVER THE MIND OF MAN"
--Thomas Jefferson

"Well aware that Almighty God hath created the mind free; that all attempts to influence it by temporal punishments or burdens, or by civil incapacitations, tend only to beget habits of hypocrisy and meanness, and are a departure from the plan of the Holy Author of our religion, who being Lord both of body and mind, yet chose not to propagate it by coercions on either, as was in his Almighty power to do; that the impious presumption of legislators and rulers, civil as well as ecclesiastical, who, being themselves but fallible and uninspired men, have assumed dominion over the faith of others, setting up their own opinions and modes of thinking as the only true and infallible, and as such endeavoring to impose them on others, hath established and maintained false religions over the greatest part of the world, and through all time..."
---Thomas Jefferson,
---The Virginia Act For Establishing Religious Freedom, 1786

Yes, but a book cannot threaten or harm anyone. That is done by the bully.

In the Koran burning iteration of the information campaign, there appears to be a coordinated media message including tie-ins to the Ground Zero mosque, Christian clergy condemning the pastor’s activities as “unchristian” to satisfy Muslim sensitivities, the State Department comparing the pastor to the 9/11 terrorists (an American citizen exercising his protected free speech rights inside America, mind you), and the U.S. Army Commanding General in Afghanistan injecting himself into Constitutional free speech issues by allocating blame for future acts of Islamic-based terrorism to Americans. All we have to do is keep them happy and the jihadis will remain “moderate”? Sounds like an organized crime protection racket.

Oh boy what a double-standard, the hypocrisy! They are protected by free speech when they burn our flag but this pastor is not?
Have ya heard the latest from the imam behind a proposed Islamic community center and mosque near ground zero? He's using the same "threat" of violence when he "cautioned that moving the facility could cause a violent backlash from Muslim extremists and endanger national security"

What horsesh*t! Now, we're going to be silenced because of the fear that the radicals will get pissed off. I say the State Dept. should tell them as soon as they stop trampling and burning our flag and/or Bible we'll reciprocate.

Americans don’t have to love the protestor in every instance, but we do have to protect the right of free speech in every instance. If we fail to do that, we will lose another huge chunk of our constitution.

The UN is trying to make it a crime of hate speech to speak out against or resist Islamic dominance. They are doing it in the name of “peace” and our elite are on board with it. We can’t stand by and let what has happened to the Euro-peons happen to us.

My question: How does their “tolerance” compare to our “tolerance”?...

They have been pushing our buttons for years. It doesn’t bother me one damn bit to see a Quran burning. In fact if it gets their panties in a bind, to damn bad!....SHOW SOME TOLERANCE!!!....We are just blowing off steam at your stupidity!

“It does not represent our core values as Americans.”

Global Backlash an Islamist Psyop?

Of course it is. There's a headline on FR right now (I haven't read it yet) that says,"INTERPOL issues global alert for increased terror threat if Koran is burned."

The US President (such that he is), the US State Dept, the Pope, etc. All saying the burning should not happen. Geeze, let's see who else we can get to jump on board.

Wait! I know... how 'bout some Hollywood celebrities? Ohhh, that's right Angelina whats-her-name already came out antiburning.

The Islamist buggers are madly stroking this (sorry about your mind's eye :-) for all it's worth.

Wonder how Thomas Sowell feels about this? Anybody Know?

Promoting the burning of someone’s holy book, whether we believe in it or not, is not right morally. There is no wisdom in burning or fouling a holy book when the believers in question are radical. This is not the way to fight Islam. This incident has put our troops in more danger.

If you care for our troops, then you can’t be for this.

The burning of the Quaran (Koran) is not the way to fight this war. It benefits no one except the enemy who will use this as ammo. It puts our troops in more danger, as well as American citizens, and the west in general.

Terry Jones and those that participate are not a Christian by these actions.

“When the inevitable fatwa calling for the preacher to be killed is issued, will it be condemed as hate speech?”

The Muzzies will go after this preacher no matter what.
