I would NOT, repeat NOT, threaten to murder American troops. Don't merge patriotism and 'turn the other cheek' Christianity on me and try to tell me that someone shouldn't be able to speak out in the manner to which they choose. I don't need to ask myself anything re: WWJD. I seem to recall "eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth" and all that. If you care for America, our troops, and western civilization, then you can’t condone the burning.
This act is closer to Islam and Nazism than it is to Christianity.
So what if millions of Americans commit this "thought crime"? What will Obama do then? Will jack-booted thugs descend on citizens? If so, GET IT ON VIDEO! Jesus would disagree with the burning. We should fight radical Islam in other ways. This is counter productive, and only gives the Islamic terrorists more ammo.
These actions are not Christian. They make the ordinations invalid. It can also be viewed as blasphemy, since the real meaning is “improperly carrying/using the name of the Lord”.

Burning the Koran only passes ammo to the enemy.
For those in support of this, they should realize that the burning is blasphemy, since blasphemy is “incorrectly coming in the name of/carrying/using the name of God”.
Blasphemy means coming in, carrying, or using the name of God incorrectly.

You and me both. Maybe other churches and organizations standing in solidarity would cause utter pandemonium. The guy may be nuts, but I can’t help but hope he ties the world in knots. He may be a kook, but he’s OUR (the average American who is sick of being pushed around by these pedophile-worhipping, murderous thugs) kook.
This will embolden the enemy. General Petraus has condemned it. But if his word isn’t enough for supporters of the burning, then perhaps they should consider that if they are Christians or Jews then it is blasphemy.
