The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund has released its grades and endorsements for the 2010 election in Nevada. Absent from their assessment: one of the most important campaigns in the country, the United States Senate race between incumbent Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D) and challenger Sharron Angle (R). (Click here to review NRA-PVF grades and endorsements.)
We know NRA announced it will not endorse Reid based on his support confirming anti-gun Supreme Court justices Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan. We also know at the time one of their PR flacks said they would not be endorsing anyone in the race, and I pegged that as "weaselly equivocation."
Why?
As a state-level candidate, NRA gave Angle an "A."
At the same time, NRA gave Reid a "B."
In every grading system I've ever seen, "A" wins.
So how does NRA reward that? By giving the Reid campaign thousands of dollars.

see post my 16.
I agree with you on Norquist. He is best buddies with Keane of the ACU. Norquist has been a supporter of amnesty and guest worker programs and has been effective in keeping the discussion of immigration at CPAC as limited as possible.
You don't have a clue of what your talking about.
Here's the new ad Chuck Norris made for the NRA just this month.

Ted Nugent is considering running for the president of the NRA.
Put the sauce away and go to bed.
Has the NRA been compromised by DemonRAT operatives who are using it as a tool for the agenda?
My last post looks stupid when I forget the question mark.
see my post #16 sonny. shove your muslim loving nra crap where the sun don’t shine junior.
Well, don’t think we’ll be upping our memberships this year!! NRA is throwing gun-owners under the bus!!
I left the NRA after being a loyal member for 40 years.
I called them immediately after hearing that they were endorsing Reid. Also when they backed Gillibrand in NY.
I sent in my membership card and wrote them a letter telling them not to contact me in the future.
I can’t remember if I thanked bobby.223 for enlightening me about Grover Norquist. If not, THANK YOU bobby.223! That and the Reid-Gillibrand endorsements were the final straw.
I’ll stick with the GOA, JPFO and the Second Amendment Foundation.
Bingo!
The NRA NEEDS the Democrats to keep the threats coming. Job number one is to give them as much support as they can, otherwise the 2nd might well be as respected in Washington as the 1st and the reason for existence of the NRA would be under threat.
1) NRA Board Members are elected by members.
2) Debbie Schussel is an Israel-only, anti-Muslim, one-issue advocate exactly like the NRA.
3) By using terms like "faggots" and "queers" you do more harm to our cause than you help it. So lighten up, Francis.
“Why don’t you tell Chuck Norris, Robert K. Brown, Ted Nugent and the other patriotic members of the NRA Board of Directors how corrupt and in the tank for big government they are?”
I notice those three were not included in the picture at that fancy new gun range with Reid and LaPierre.
My last post looks stupid when I forget the question mark.

LOL. Oh my goodness; I didn’t think anybody was that persnickety except me.
Bobby, no need to do what the NRA Groupies have done to us for years... name calling is not needed, just keep shining the light of truth on the lies and deception, and we will win in the end.
Just look at the strides we and like-minded Freepers have made over the years in this battle... keep to the high ground my FRiend.
Ping, see my previous post.
First Point; The NRA did not start with so many members, and by their recent actions THEY are driving many of their members onto the rolls of other groups. The 2A battle lines have been flexing for years, to me the more the merrier... hopefully in the end it is the 2A that will win out!
Second Point; if there are "conservative" BOD members as you claim... Why am I not seeing them step forward to rein in the NRA's left drift... just sayin.
yeah - I’ll take that bet
