. . . . and democrats took fiscal control of these policies in January of 2007.
But didn’t this administration create 3,000,000 jobs? And arent we in recovery? Pesky facts like these are making Dems look like liars ( oopsie).
And yet on virtually every rent-controlled apartment building and many houses in low income neighborhoods you’ll find satellite dishes galore.
If you are truly struggling to find food to eat and pay rent, how can you afford satellite or cable TV?
Oh, and I’ve seen quite a few people living in low income neighborhoods driving nicer cars than I do.
What better way to get control over the population of the U S of A?
They be doin’ an excellent job.
16. America has the fattest poor people in the world.
Great post. Thanks for the compilation.
IS it because folks are porr, or the FedGov keeps rasing the bar for how much dough you can have and still collect from Uncle SUgar?
Here in Ak, a family of 4 can pull down $48K /yr and still collect a ton of “benefits”.
“Amo el Statesm unido donde incluso está gordo el prople pobre!” Oy!
The more government grows to conquer poverty, the worse poverty gets. Big government is the problem.
Could it be because Obama and his regime redefined the term POVERTY in March, 2010? Google 'obama redefines poverty' and check it out.
This is simply another created crisis to take money from the rich and give it to the 'poor'.
Wow. Key explanation: Under the Obama system, poverty can be reduced only if the incomes of the poor are rising faster than the incomes of everyone else.

The rats have expandaded the definition of poverty as other posters have noted. The rats are handing out welfare like candy especially during this election cycle. The rat vision is a majority of voters receiving government benefits who will vote themselves the property of a small minority. This vision will doom the country to economic malaise and possibly collapse.
Depends on your definitons of poverty.

There is a growing poverty in America: a poverty of integrity, self-sufficiency and hard-work. Thanks LIBs/Moonbats/DIMs and other assorted assclowns.
Many have probably lost their ambition to do anything, and living the soft on the dole life is just more comfortable for them.
what we call poverty would be upper class in many countries...
***America has the fattest poor people in the world.***
There was a time back in the 1800s when being fat meant being rich! Clothes for men were designed to show off a big belly meaning you were rich. Look at any photos of the robber barrons of that time.
Artist Fredrick Remington sticks in my mind with his big belly promenently displayed in his photo.
Thin meant you were poor.
Years ago I saw some old advertisements for patent medicines from the 1800s. One showed a thin poor sick family, next panel showed them all taking a spoonful of Dr So and So’s patent medicine, lst panel shows a fat well dressed happy rich family, all because they took the patent medicine..
