She’s got an uphill climb - but a $1.298M money bomb is a pretty good place to start.

“I think Karl jumped the shark where Christine is concerned. I was very disappointed in his performance and answers on Greta’s show.”

If he’s not yet backpedaling, he should be. But really - who cares about Karl Rove right now? He had his moment - and clearly that time is over.

This moment is for the American People!

Does anyone know what happened to all the detailed biographical information that was on her website? Why did they remove everything?

$1,307,236 !!!!!

tv advertising for DE is tricky and potentially very costly b/c the main tv markets are from Philly and Baltimore.... but with all the online options which can be highly targeted to zip codes and demographics, plus cable shows (often much less expensive for ads), email and snail mail etc. etc. I'd think that the money she is now raising will do a lot.

Rove’s holier-than-thou critique of O’Donnell is ironic considering the fact that he comes from a hardscrabble background, didn’t graduate college + has 2 failed marriages on the books.

Here’s my guess.

1) They want to make it as easy as possible to get what they want which is money and email addresses.

2) If this cools down, settles into a more normal campaign mode, I’d expect some info in there. Taking the bio stuff down was probably a good move. She can repackage herself to the different audience. She won’t change postions, she’ll just focus on different things.

Hold back from putting anything up, then come back with something great. She’s really not constrained by anything. Marijuana legalization? Is she for it or against it? Conservative young evangelicals do smoke pot sometimes. And give handys. Better get used to that kinda talk. If you’re hardcore on sex, like even going as far as to say fag, not necessarily saying that, but making it clear on no uncertain terms that you will not vote for any progay legislation and you would take out progay stuff from existing laws, and you are in favor of legalization of marijuana, what do you gain there? Marijuana polls at least 10 points better than gay.
You get them. And they’re Democrats. The hardcore on gay stuff keeps the socons onboard, and might even pump em up.
They’re not as pumped at the tea partiers, who don’t need red meat thrown their way purposefully.

Does anybody remember Dave Chappelles Show.

Remember “I find it to be gross”

Christine repeats that.

She might even be able to get a significant percentage just by saying that. “you said that you don’t like gays, what do you say about that?” Well, i’m sorry I just find them to be gross, as Dave Chappelle said. I guess you could say I’m the pretty lady who had to say it for Dave.” Significant votes from Blacks with that. The Gays will not vote for Christine, even if they’re otherwise “conservative” already. They’re gone. Not a voter block we should ever fear pissing off. We don’t want them. The will be comfortable in the “Elite” party with Snowe, maybe Casey if Liz or Ben doesn’t beat him in the 3 way race in PA. The next Casey race Casey gets primaried by somelike like someone, probably the lead singer of Breaking Benjamin. They were a local band in Wilkes-Barre, so they’re well known and liked, personally, by a whole lot of people. They’re charismatic, by definition. I’d throw someone from The Clarks in the mix, Pete Palladino would win. Of course the Breaking Benjamin would. Liz Hale of Halestorm will be the Tea Party Candidate., she’ll beat anyone who runs against her in the Republican Party. Halestorm, right? They’re on the radio a lot right now, on Active Rock stations mostly. But they could make her a huge star at any moment with some top 40 songs that would be huge. Ok, so, a rock star, ok, aren’t most rock stars liberal? Not Liz Hale, she was homeschooled. Christian. The records that were made 10 years ago, which were self released, were very Christian. There’s some good stuff on those older records. So, she wins the R nomination. Bypass the media. Spend the money on “matchup of the rock stars” completely coordinate the campaign, as much as legally possible. Casey would be the 3d party. Halestorm, although from Reading, and then York, did play a lot in the coal region, and up to Wilkes-Barre.

Halestorm could play a benefit for Christine and Liz could sing the national anthem. They’re a pretty big band, other bands might hop on board. With people I kinda know, Halestorm, of course, Muse, they’re the biggest band in the world that formed in the last 20 or more years. They’re very specific about their politics, others. So that would be the kind of thing that would excite young Obama voters. The young ones, they really like style. They didn’t really know exactly what Obama was all about, but they didn’t like McCain at all. Just thought he was awful. Unless you’re Ron Paul, don’t be old. Some 20 somethings I know switched from Ron Paul to Obama. Ron Paul was cool with regular people in Central PA. He got around 20% against McCain in a primary not a caucus in York, Lancaster, Berks. Berks is where Halestorm is from.

ROCK STARS HAVE MAILING LISTS. IF A ROCK STAR NEEDS MONEY, HE SENDS A TWEET TO HIS OR HER FANS SAYING - I’M RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT I NEED 20 BUCKS. AND A MILLION FANS SEND 20 BUCKS IN A HALF HOUR.

PUT A ROCK STAR ON EVERY BALLOT. DO NOTHING. SIT THERE ON THE BALLOT. NO DEBATES. NOTHING. THEN RIGHT AT THE END BOOM, I NEED 20 MILLION DOLLARS RIGHT NOW. GOT IT. AND FLOOD THE TV WITH ADVERTISEMENTS. AND WIN.

IN CASE YOU’RE WONDERING THIS IS BRILLIANT STUFF. NOVEL.
HUGE. IT MOST CERTAINLY WOULD WORK.

Nobody thinks about Hawaii. We could win Hawaii if we had the right candidate. Young. Put the money there, with the young crazy guy who doesn’t like gays.

I think my opponents a fag. vote for me John Roco.
and bury people with that message for 12 hours. Word of that gets out. He wins.

John Roco should do a chipin. He puts up a commercial on you tube says “i’m putting this up on the air, how many times depends on how much money you send” And people can click to put a commercial on the air. it’s a way to get more contributions.

Christine could bring people into the campaign process. She could put 4 tv ads on her website and people could choose which one they wanted by paying to air them. Sort of like “click here to buy this ad” And if the campaign was actually able to tell them when that ad was going to be on, they could watch it and feel happy, like they can say themselves “my money made that thing happen, and I’m happy that thing happened.” I’m gonna do it again and again because it makes me feel good. Being part of a group, and getting carried away by the moment is a good think.

It’s good she added the counter. They’re going to need to upgrade their servers. Or if there was some way to multicast the graphic. Mark Cuban could help out with that, he knows a lot about bandwidth issues. He’s a good one, or at least was in the 90s when he was working on broadcast.com. Probably still is. He could be a appointee to some position in a tea party administration perhaps. A straight shooter.
Could run for President and win unlike Bloomberg.

“Anyhow, she ought to send Cornyn’s $42,000 NRSC check back to him, “No thanks.”

Oh no. That’s not elegant enough. Keep in mind that when Christine wins, she’ll be able to fund other campaigns out of her campaign chest. Perhaps to a primary challenger of Sen. Cornyn.

And then she should donate precisely $42,000.

Obviously, you are preoccupied with silver spoons.

I am less interested in WHERE people come from and more interested in WHAT people stand for. Being born poor and knowing the struggles of “ordinary folks” is not necessarily a virtue. Some of the kindest people I know, folks who would do anything for you, are from wealthy families.

Actually I don’t care a lick about whether or not someone was born into “privilege”. Like you said, it’s the foundation of principals that determines more who they are. I do, however, find that many times when someone has pulled themselves up from little have a certain base of principals and work ethic. Obviously there are always the exceptions that can be pointed to.

By the times the ‘tea party’ is finished with us we will all be wearing wool suits and sitting through 3 hour church services in 95 degree churches.

Yes, because US history demonstrates this since her conception.

Quite frankly, I don't want the unregenerate in any church. If you don't like God, then go hit the links or do whatever you want - just stay out of the Church, it is not for you. On the other hand, I don't have a problem with people volunteering to share their faith. If that is a topic that is off-limits to you, then kindly tell the evangelist you are not interested, just like we have to do with people who are trying to vend things from Girl Scout Cookies to Amway products.

If by chance you were to be interested in the things of God, then by all means show up. I am just sick and tired of these phonies who think that pastoring is no different than being a cruise ship activities and entertainment director. I think that you would be hard pressed to find a Big Box that is not kept at meat-locker temperatures nor be the least bit bothered with you wandering in wearing clothes befitting cleaning out the garage or participating in a triathalon. That is what embracing the unregenerate has done to these churches - they now have the pastor sliding down a zip line wearing tights and a Batman costume to deliver a pep talk while the house rock band plays Van Halen hits.

The ability to contribute a few bucks online will save this country from the collectivists control machine in Washingtopia. We can hit them anywhere anytime. They will move to put a stop to this.
