I don’t expect conservatives, when beat by establishment Republicans who we are trying to rid the part of, to fund raise, speak for or make appearances for. I do expect civility.

I’ve not seen JD make any extremely rude comments about McCain or say to people they should not vote for him. If you have, can you provide a source for it?

I never said or implied that Hayworth was running a write-in campaign.

No, you did not say that. But, in the context of your post, you were comparing him to Murkowski. My observation stands.

JD offered a very gracious concession speech and kept his followers from booing McCain. McCain didn’t need JD’s endorsement, McCain will get 3/4 of the democrat vote in Arizona and everyone knows it.

Joe Miller’s supporters must go door to door; wake up the people of Alaska. I’m impressed with Joe Miller because of his no nonsense truthfulness. What a rare quality in a politician these days. Joe Miller has grit, determination, served in Iraq, and brains to top it all off. He’s a patriot with spine and guts that must be elected.

I’ve watched him on Fox News and I was very impressed by his lack of smiling like a Cheshire Cat at the camera. Joe’s serious about restoring our Constitution, preserving our freedom and security, and ensuring that our children and grandchildren are free in a prosperous country.

I’ll ask of you what I asked of the other poster: Please provide a link to a story where Hayworth was trashing McCain after the election.

A refusal to endorse the man who had just spent $20 Million accusing Hayworth of everything under the sun does not count.

You’re right. I’ve never seen candidates attack each other in a political campaign before.

Yeah, we've all seen people spend $20 million dollars smearing people all the time....in a PRIMARY no less LOL

don't be foolish....sure, some pubs are beyond our support, but they are far, far better than the rats....

if we leave this country in rat control much longer, we'll have no free internet, no conservative radio, continued biased media supported by tax dollars, endless taxes..

some people in MINN decided to not support who they considered a rino...they voted third party....and guess what....they got a 6 yr term of a leftist, idiotic, perverted insane Freak ....

how that serves the greater cause I'll never know.....

support your candidate in the primary.....I mean real support...fannies on the ground and checks in the mail.....

but after that, if the people speak, and they want Mr. Milktoast or Ms.Goalong than so be it....

if we don't support the pub candidates, we're no better than Castle or Murkowski....stomping our foot..taking our ball and going home because we didn't get our way.....

bama was elected as was Clintoon due to people not doing the right thing.....

If I was absolutely certain the Republicans could not take the Senate, I would seriously consider supporting McCain’s opponent.

That’s actually a pretty good idea. If we were 110% we couldn’t take the Senate back.

If I’m reading this race correctly, Miller has a lot to smile about. This is like Florida Part II. Expect Murkowski to go up in the polls for a short time then plummet into the sewer closer to election day.

As Republicans and especially conservatives in Florida rejected Crist and his antics, Alaskan’s will do the same to Lisa. Voters are sick and tired of those who work for us telling us what we should be doing, those that do face the possibility of being fired as Crist and Murkowski are finding out.

I’d rather see a Dem take the seat from people like Snowe/Collins/Castle etc. I know that isn’t the most popular thing to say around here but personally I’m sick of supporting those in our party who believe voting with the Dems somehow makes them Republicans.

I suggested this a while back on a thread about McCain. Why not just go ahead an get rid of these rino prix NOW!! If it comes to it vote them out with a dem because the GOP/RNC are the establishment who do not care about anything but a little power at this time willing forfeiting the ideals of this country. They won't support a candidate who wants to do the right things only those who will remain loyal to the party elites!! < /middle finger salute to the republican brass>

Either give us conservatives who care about this country to vote for or we're gonna run you moderate liberal coddlers over by voting for the dem!!! This is one of the best chances I believe we will see in a lifetime to get the conservatives into power controlling the party.

Foolish is what we’re been doing since Reagan (if not before) simply voting for the party chosen candidate because we’re told we’ve got to have a R in there.

Where has that got us? I’m not as concerned about the House where we can elect enough conservatives into office to offset those the “RINO” votes.

My concern is the Senate where one Senator going along with the Dems can give us ObamaCare, Cap-n-Trade etc etc etc. There is where we can not compromise one bit. One Senator votes to bring an unconstitutional bill out of committee is all it takes as we’ve learned.

I’d rather have a Dem sitting in a seat than a Republican who I can’t trust. With the Dem I know how they are going to vote, having to wonder sometimes up to a few minutes before votes are cast how one on our side will vote is unacceptable.

What a shrill, brittle b*tch this woman is. Typical liberal POS. “I don’t get my way so I’ll do everything to f*ck up everybody else’s chances.”

I hope we can start digging up lots and lots of dirt on the POS b*tch.

How much more evidence do you need to know that the GOP is infiltrated with liberals. I’d love to go back in time in here all the wonderful things the GOP establishment said about her in the past.

The GOP isn’t getting one thin dime ...

PS: Excellent on DeMint’s party, finally we have a non-coward

This is why Republicans shouldn't apologize for supporting principled conservatives in primary elections, even in states like Delaware. Conservative candidates are in it for their country while too many establishment politicians seek office to preserve their status and power.

I’d rather contribute directly to candidates rather than to a PAC.

J.D. Hayworth did not support McCain and while I don't like McCain at all I now feel Hayworth needs to grow up.

But he did the next best thing which is shut up.

I understand if someone honestly feels that he can not support the candidate but at that point he should quietly fade into the back ground until the next election. To do otherwise is petty and spiteful.
