Cliff Kincaid writes of the protest,
"The “peace director” of the October 2 “One Nation Working Together” rally says that the U.S. should immediately withdraw from Iraq and Afghanistan, military aid to Israel should be ended, and that Iran has the right to develop nuclear weapons as long as the U.S. has them. He also says that Marxists are invited to participate at his upcoming rally.
Michael McPhearson, one of the key organizers of the event and former executive director of Veterans for Peace, tells Accuracy in Media, “I’m not all that concerned if you’re a Republican, Democrat, or Marxist or Communist, whatever,” he said. “I just want us to work together to make our country better. That’s what I look at—not if you’re a socialist.”
The October 2 rally in Washington, D.C. is designed to counter the Tea Party, a grass roots movement of citizens devoted to limited government, and the recent “Restoring Honor” rally in the nation’s capital sponsored by Fox News personality Glenn Beck."

That is in violation of the nuclear proliferation agreements. Some would even call it treason to support the Iranian nutjob's regime and denounce America.
I really don’t understand these people. If this country is so horrible, why don’t they move somewhere else and let people who love what America stands for stay here?

Among those goals is to see America itself become a socialist hellhole.
IF the stated reason those other socialist “experiments” are hellish is because they are not employing “true socialism”, why don’t they push for “reform socialism” in the hellholes rather than subverting the Constitution and instilling an alien system of rule in America?

Remember when the media tried to smear the whole tea party movement with a broad brush of "racism" because of one or two reputed banners or unconfirmed witness testimonials?
That is apart from the mad hatters who said they would deliberately exhibit racist banners to smear the tea party...
So what is the expectation that the media will cover these same Communists at this rally that they never once highlighted at the so-called antiwar rallies.
Can a peace advocate support the nuclear weaponry development of Iran?!!

Leftists, when they get comfortable and think they are surrounded by “like-minded” people, tend to let their true beliefs be known,
and the truth about their beliefs will destroy them.

I think there’s a correlation between “evil” and who these people are, as well as what they want for U.S. as a nation themir preoccupation with dominating over U.S. and dragging us down with their perverted notions of who we are, or who they think we should be.
A conservative talk show host this a.m. talked about their organizing strategies, and said that they (Marxists, Communists...) move into areas in the U.S. in which they are most able to politically work to promote their agenda. Conservatives typically don’t think like that, and we tend to give up on areas that are infiltrated by the left and their agenda, but that’s turf that we need to re-gain. That’s true, to some extent, of many inner cities across America, and even many of the towns or communities surrounding those cities.
At the same time, people are realizing that they’ve been fed a bunch of lies, and are angry with the current administration... and that includes many liberals and “independents”, which is why the commies now need to unite against U.S.
But their objectives, regardless of what they are named are meant to destroy U.S. and fortunately, I think that more and more Americans are able to see that, and are asking the same question that you’ve asked!
Thank God, Nov. is coming, and none too soon!
