If Whitman contracted through an agency and the maid showed her phony documents, there is little she is responsible for.
It is against the law to challenge a worker for papers if they provided the i-9 documents. That is one of the things the liberals put in the 86 immigration law to get illegals to work illegally with phony papers and why they oppose e-verify.
And she did the right thing by firing her when she found out.

The maid was hired thru an employment agency upon the maid’s presentation of a social security card and a driver’s license and her representation that she had lawful permanent resident status. She was treated well and was paid $23 an hour.After working for Meg for 9 years she confessed that she was working illegally and Meg discharged her.

All I had to hear this morning was Gloria Allred to know this is a set up. Good for Whitman that she keeps good records and this little “pre” October surprise attempt from Brown/Allred actually makes her look good; I don’t think that was their intention.
