This woman should be arrested and deported and her attorney should be charged for not reporting an illegal alien.
It’s a beautiful thing!!!
However awful she’s been treated (har har) no one has starved her.
Any of our intrepid, truth seeking “journalists” looked into the agency that supplied her? Be pretty damn hysterical if it turned out to be partly owned by Dem politicos. Which in CA is a pretty good bet.
You can bet they will be right on that one.
Of course you would lose that bet
Likewise!
I was pretty hard on Whitman on another thread, so much so that I am now going back to apologize for not waiting for Meg to respond to the charges. Folks can view that here.

What bothers me at this point is that Whitman supposedly hired this woman through a third party (employment firm). That company developed the document base that they thought made it possible for this woman to work in the United States.
Evidently Whitman paid this agency each month, and did not directly employ the housekeeper herself. This has been mentioned to distance Whitman from the responsibility for the womans status.
Now Whitmans camp is providing documents. So how did she obtain those documents? Those documents are privileged. Your employer cant make your documents public.
Was Whitman employing this lady directly or not? I dont believe she was, because she was paying one flat rate, $23.00 per hour, 15 hours per week on a regular basis. That $23.00 per hour evidently included an employment fee for the employment management firm.
How does Whitman obtain those private documents of a person employed by someone else? And how does she justify dumping those documents in public?
Even if those documents are falsified, they are private documents.
If youre an employer, try dumping your employees documents in public.
So, technically the maid did not work for Whitman. Whitman's contract with the agency should be examined. If they all claim that the maid was legal then Whitman is clear.
Of course, the race baiters are using this as another excuse to hate white people.
The left is all for hiring illegals and the right is glad she fired the woman *after* she found out the woman's status --wink, wink--.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Whitman campaign set this up themselves!
If youre an employer, try dumping your employees documents in public.
I don't know if you've ever been in a "confidential" corporate staff meeting, Ron, but I have.
I can't generalize and claim that what I personally witnessed is widespread. But I was personally offended by some of the unprofessional and ignorant breeches of employee confidentiality that occurs. Corporate politics can get a lot dirtier than public politics.
I don't know what Meg knew or didn't know.
But I would suspect that at the very least, she has become ethicly callous to issues of confidentiality due to her corporate background. IOW, she doesn't know where to draw the line.
